ok i dont get this my ps locks up when imalizing world

yea im wondering why the devs havent come up with a patch or something istead of this stupid answere1. My game locks up when I connect. It just says \"Initializing world\" but Windows says it is not responding!

This is ok. On some machines, Planeshift believes it needs to recalculate the lighting, which can take up to 2 hours the first time you run. If you let it run to completion, it will load quickly every time after that.
that burns me up i wait for it like 2 hours nothing they need to make a quik move were all wanting to play instead of these stupid asnweres i know the evs have the power i do respect them and i know they need to get in gear and do what they can for every one
if i am force to and no devs replie i will bug the hell outa them cuze i want to play ps my p3 and somtinram and windows me with a geforce 2 or 3(cant remember) nvidia obvisly aint doin muchi dont have some open gl thing set, then gives me a whole bunch of \"failed to open...  that is what it says when i open cilent

i got the same problem but i read in other threads that u need to increase ur virtual memory that is why i am buying a new computer for this game ^^

look, lordofchaos(misnomer if I ever heard one) you don\'t get the general idea do you, you\'re testing the latest build, the developers are busy creating the next build. It\'s quite simple, they could be busily working on making the next build  ready for play, or they could waste all their time on tweaking this one for people like you who aren\'t even really interested in helping; rather, you seem more interested in critisizing the developers for what is essentially a shell of the game...
