Name: Axace

Name Reason: A combination of the words \'axe\' and  \'mace.\' This is so because the weapon is a cross between the mentioned weapons.

Weapon Type: Namely an axe.

Usage: It can be used with one hand, but far more effective when wielded by two.

Damage Type: Slashing.

Description: A metal handle with a chain going through the top of the handle, wich is like the handle of an axe. The chain connects the handle to the axe blade. Sow speed, but can trip or entalge an opponent within the chains. The chains may also be re-sized, as in pulling it back and foward, from the axe bgin connected to the handle to about two feet in lentgh.

Rarity: Moderately common.

Note: I am never good at coming u with costs, as I do not yet know the standard amount of money for an all around average weapon. Yet. Either that or I\'m too lazy.

Oh, and I think we should conentrate on common, not unique or rare, weapons. Just a thought, but Planeshift is in its (really) early stages of development.

Rarity: Sold by the weird guy hiding in the cave at the bottom of the world.

Name:  Huine

Name reason:  The sword is made of a black material called mor anga (meaning \"black iron\" in elvish). The sword itself is therefore called Huine (Darkness).

Type of weapon: Short sword

Usage: One-handed.

Damage-type: Slashing, stabbing and a 80% chance of poisoning its victim. Have no effect against undead.

Description: Huine is a short sword and is sharp, deadly and soaked with a strong poison that has a devastating effect on most living things.
It has the symbol of death on its handle and has a rumor saying that it blackens the owners heart.

Popular amongst thiefes and the forces of darkness.

Rarity:  It\'s forbidden in many towns because most associates it with dark magic.
Can be found in the darker parts of Yliakum.

Cost:  varies.

Weapon Name:  Moria Bow
Name Reason:  This bow has been developed by the Der\"moria\"ns.
Type of Weapon:  Ranged, Long Bow
Usage:  2 Handed
Type of hit:  pierce
Description: Its a long bow, almost as high as a Dermorian. Dwarves cant use it (due to their small body size). Only elve races can take full advantage of it. It can shoot very far and at short range it can pierce light and medium armor. (Will add a pic if i find the time to make a decent looking one)
Rarity:  Can only be found at Dermorian Weapon Shops/can be crafterd by players playing elves.
Cost:  Depending what a normal bow/long bow costs - at least 1.5 times as much ... maybe ~1000 tria

Weapon Name:  Feather Sword
Name Reason:  Due to its appearance - its very light with a thin blade -> weights almost nothing.
Type of Weapon:  Long sword
Usage:  1 Hand due to its weight - 2 Swords can be used simultanously
Type of hit:  cut and stab
Description:  It looks like a katan though its smaller in size and a bit thiner. The Handle as a different shape than a katan. Due to its weight it doesnt do great damage to metallic armor (above light armor I suppose). Prefered weapon of rangers.
Rarity:  It can be made out of different metals therefore there are cheaper ones that can be found at almost every weapon shop.
Cost:  from 100-1500 tria (cheapest metal - best metal)

Name Reason: Common Hunting Bow
Type of Weapon: Bow
Usage: 2 Handed Ranged Weapon
Type of hit: Piercing
Description: Small short bow often used by hunters, light and simple these bows although weak are easy to repair and reliable. Short to Medium ranged
Rarity: Very common, can be found all over Yliakum, Easy to make
Cost: Very cheap

Weapon Name: Lightning Staff
Name Reason: Enchanted Staff Weapon.
Type of Weapon: Staff
Usage: 2 Handed
Type of hit: Blunt trauma and magic electric shock
Description: Steel covered wooden staff with 2 small globes towards each end of the shaft. With skill can be used to project a light magical electric shock over a short distance but mainly used as normal staff with addition of extra electric shock damage.
Rarity: Usually made to order for wizards or other magic users so is reasonably rare to find a new unused staff, requires both a blacksmith and wizard to create (or blacksmith with magical ability)
Cost: More expensive than normal staffs but cheaper than other special magical weapons.

Weapon Name: Poisoned Darts
Name Reason: Guess!!!
Type of Weapon: Ranged
Usage: Single handed
Type of hit: Depends on Poison used, anything from sleep or paralysis to delayed or instant death
Description: Simple Blowpipe with case of poisoned darts. Darts useless against Kran and little chace of dart hitting skin with heavily armoured opponents with the chance becoming greater the lighter the armour. Darts are single use and more must be purchased when they run out. Slow rate of fire
Rarity: Blowpipes and cases quite common due to there ease of production (made by blacksmith), darts range from common for the cheap common poisons to very rare for the more exotic poisons (made by alchemists).
Cost: Blowpipe and case cheap, poisoned darts range from cheap for ineffective common poisons to expensive for deadly exotic darts.

Weapon Name: Winged Dagger

Name Reason: The weapon looks like a dagger with wings.

Type of Weapon: Dagger and/or Ranged

Usage: One handed

Type of hit: Piercing or slashing

Description: The winged dagger looks like a dagger withh two wings on the upper handle. The wings come out on either side of the part of the handle closer to the blade, while the lower handle has nothing so that people can wield it. The wings are to improve accuracy, and can do minute amounts of damage when they hit the target instead of the blade itself.

Rarity: Fairly Common

Price: Farily Cheap

Perhaps there can be cost types, like the mana cost types in the Idea for Spells thread.  Prices that are not numerical can include Cheap, Moderate, Expensive, and Where in the Universe can I get this much Monety?

Weapon Name: Stone Spear

Name Reason: The weapon is, in fact, a spear made of stone!

Type of Weapon: Polearm

Usage: Two handed for most, one handed for the strong

Type of hit: Blunt or piercing

Description; The stone spear looks like a stone spear, with a fear jutting points here and there. It is farily hard to use as a deadly weapon, although strong creatures can negate most of the disadvantages with their strength and knock out enemies with the blunt side of the spear. Or stab them with the piercing end.

These spears were made by Kran testing their strength and crafting skills. The result was several spears made of stone, and could be sold for money.

Rarity: Fairly common

Price: Cheap to Moderate

Weapon Name:S.A. Scythe

Name Reason: Its a \'S\'ide \'A\'rm scythe

Type of Weapon: Sythe or deeply curved sword (kinda)

Usage: One handed (can be dual equipped)

Type of hit: Slash

Description: A scythe with a short handle that can fit into the palm of your hand. If you\'ve seen a grim reepers scythe then you know that it is \"L\" shaped! It is held horizantally (instead of vertically like a sword) so that when held the blade is going down the side of your arm!

Rarity: as common as a normal short sword

Price: 500 tria

Weapon Name: Paarig Fallbeil

Name Reason: Twin Guillotine in German... I think

Type of Weapon: Hand Blade/Dual Polearm

Usage: The smaller version is weilded in one hand and can be dual weilded.  This requires a lot of skill however.  A two hand weilded polearm version also exists.

Type of Hit: Slash

Description: Rough model of handheld version


Rarity: Relatively common in an uncommon weapon class.

Cost: 1000 handheld, 1500 polearm
