Why don\'t you just DL and try the game to make your own opinion ?

The screen shots from this site are taken directly from the game.  There are other sites with some screen shots as well ( anybody care to post a link? ).

As to if the game is \'worth\' it, it really depends.  At the moment it is still a work in progress.  It\'s like asking is it worth to drive a prototype car.  There are no seatbelts and the radio doesn\'t work but you get to see some of how it might work.

As a \'game\' PlaneShift is nowhere near finished.  If you just want to see what it could \'potentially\' be then you can try it out.

Obviously, this person has 56k, and wants to check before dling 60megs.  Well, it\'s sorta interesting, but it\'s really an incredibly nice chatroom right now.  Though it\'s still enjoyable.

this game is definitely worth a try, though there are still some elements missing, that are important for a mmorpg. Some elements are already in there like npcs, quests and a (limited) trading system and as it was said before its a huge chat room....:)

really whether you decide to download this game or not depends more on what you want in a game than anything else - if you want to talk to the community and establish yourself through crystal hunting then you can - but then again if you want to establish yourself in the community it is just as easy to do so (and maybe easier if you have 56 k) on the forums - and if you dont care about anchoring yourself in this community then you might as well buy halflife and go frag yourself... but then again feal free to leave and come back once the game is more developped - alot of people do that - those are four viable options for you ;)
