Need help with connecting...

Okay, I created my character with the program I downloaded off of the main site. Now it tells me to upload it. I click upload and nothing happens. I get this text near the bottom that says:

\"website of
or more
(cant read)
Please check the\"

SO like I am sitting here still pressing the upload buttons over and over again and nothng is happening. The server I have on there is the main one like planeshift.fragnetics.com and stuff.

So what can I do to log on?

OKay, EDIT:

I tried connecting from the main screen and it gave me:

\"This server is not running or is not reliable. Please check the website or the forums for more information.\" and stuff then exited.

Arg!

I beleive other people were having similar problems, are you using windows XP? Do you have a firewall running? Is your middle name bob? There are alot of things that could be going wrong, sorry that the program can give you more info on what is going wrong.....

I am running Xp. I did change the .exe file to be compatible to xp too. I also have a zonealarm but disabled it when trying to connect.

Any clue?

Yeah, i\'m having the same problem, i try to connect and it sometimes says \"server not up, please check the forums\" or something like that. or it loads and while its loading it kicks me to the desktop.

I am have the same problem. When I make my char it gives me a \"Deadlink\" message, and I too get kicked to my desktop after that.

The server might be down, check here to see if its online.
If you are linkdead, go to the tech forum and read the thread about it.
