Yea, there\'s a lot of these, but I\'ll ignore it since music is just great stuff.

Well here are my 3 favorite bands:
Yellowcard
Name Taken
No Motiv

(it\'s alternative rock/punk)

and some bands with great names that play good music:
slick shoes
skeetball
gatsby\'s american dream
I bought their cds because I liked the name of their bands :P

EDIT: here are some more... I love music :D

One Dollar Short
Don\'t Look Down
Hot Rod Circuit
Knockout
Fall Out Boy
Motion City Soundtrack
Incubus (I\'ve tried to keep the list of bands people don\'t know, naming things everyone knows just really isn\'t helpful, but Incubus is just good stuff, period)
Days Away
PUSA (hah)

btw Abemore, a lot of those bands are great (I just bought the Junction 18 cd last week :P ) I will have to check out those I have not heard

Nice, Kiern.
I\'ve heard and liked Yellowcard and Slick Shoes.  I\'ll check out some of those other bands you listed...

Some similar sounding bands I like (in no particular order):
Midtown
Descendents
The Alkaline Trio
Junction 18
Dynamite Boy
The Starting Line
Allister
Good Charlotte
Goldfinger
Lit
Simple Plan
Side Walk Slam

You\'ll like some of those more than others.
Now I\'m off to http://www.towerrecords.com and http://www.allmusic.com to check out the bands Kiern mentioned.

Awaiting Invite from the Ordo Illuminatis.

Before you criticize someone, remember to walk a mile in their shoes...
...then when you criticize them, you\'ll be a mile away ...and you\'ll have their shoes.

here are some of the bands, who\'s concerts I\'d like to visit in near future...;)

Nightwish

Subway To Sally
In Extremo

Jester\'s Funeral
Beyond Surface
-- take care --

Mainly melodic Death metal, and techno/psytrance

My favourite death metal artists are \"In Flames\" probably the best out there (at least IMO)

in techno it\'s Infected Mushroom, or Hallucinogen.

Hmmm...classic rock like Led Zeppelin, or Jimmy Hendrix
Alternative like Gorillaz or POD
Blues, Jazz, Celtic, some Contemporary Christian, I don\'t really listen to punk rock much because it sounds flat when they sing but I love a punk rocker band called Ghotti Hook.

Peace

CDs in my stereo right now:

Orgy, \"Candya$$\"- Great techno rock group.  Sort of like NIN and Marilyn but more mainstream.

Generation X, \"Perfect Hits 75-81\"- An old school punk band from back when punk meant something.  This was the band that launched Billy Idol\'s career.

Subatomicglue, \"Global Enemy\"- Electronic, trance.  You won\'t find a CD in stores and the songs are very rare on Kazaa.  Go here to check em out: Subatomicglue

Anyway, three completely different genres but they\'re all great and should be checked out.

Only n00bs don't quote themselves...
