I realy think that there should be a symbol based on the time period that you joined PlaneShift. Like a symbol placed beside your name, notifying how long you have been around and showing that you a an experienced or less experienced player.

I was thinking that there could be a new symbol created every 2-3 months marking a different time period. I dunno if you guys would like this idea I just think it would be pretty cool to have around. :)

ok.. I don\'t know about that.. But I guess it could help newbies to know who to ask if they are unsure about something.. Then they should of course ask one who has been there longer that themselves :P

I think names in different colors would also work i guess. I mean the brighter your name is the more of a beginner you are, the darker your name is, the more of an experienced player you are.

Hmmm it work work a lot better... If there was like a database of  everyone who is active and plays PS...   In that database window beside the names there should be symbols...  So then newbies could pm that person for some help...   There should also be an option if you want to be shown on that database or not...   That way the \"BEST\" players dont get pmed 24/7

hehe, not really.. if that were the case and people judged helpfullness on length of time with PS we would have droves of newbs running to Link for help :D

and then, if they are able to read :P, they would ask somebody else.. But be prepared to get ignored if you ask a question which has been answered 10000 times in advance...!
