I just downloaded Americas Army from mpogd.com and have yet to install it. I let it download over night when i got on the computer I just went and tried PlaneShift. Im gonna get on in a couple of minutes. I got the linkdead thing and read that thread so now i should probably connect. Ive heard that it takes a long time to load the first time so i might just play some PSO (its a shame Im not online with that gem of a game...) maybe i can install Americas Army later.

Has anyone ever played Shattered Galaxy? That game is probably the best Massive Multiplayer online Strategy game in existence. I so wish I still had the money to play it.

Speaking of MUDs ArchMage is a good one... though there\'s little pictures its rather fun and lets you use your imagination.

Best thing is that you can play it on any web browser, and you accumalate 1 \"turn\" for every 5/10/15 minutes depending on where you play, you use these \"turns\" to build stuff and you can have up to a max of like 200 turns or something. you accumalate turns wether you play or not, and last i checked it\'s still free. :D

[read the news on archmage.magewar.com and it turns out that it\'s been down since aug. 6th for a major update taking... get this... 1 month. :( mostly fixing bugs and other things, and archspace is down too.]

Wyvern is 2D and not even good 2D. Yuck.  Kinda like playing ledgeon of Zelda on Netendo.

I don\'t know about *good* MMORPG\'s but here are some more bad ones:

Blademistress- Superzized squares! how fun. Not! You get your choice of Barbarian Woman with Black hair, or Barbarian woman with White hair, or with Green hair, or Yellow hair, or...

Astonia 3- Miniturized Text! how fun. Not!  Hummm, looks and plays a lot like the original Diablo only that ran good on my Pentium90, this one runs bad on a PIII.

Dragon Realms- It is a MUD! why does it keep poping up under MMORPG, and its not Free!  For this price I can have two or three EQ accounts.

WHY TA hell would I want to play a game where you have to cut grass VIRTUALLY, and then go home to your virtual wife, and your ugly kids when I can do that in real life, minus the wife part and the kids?
This game hurts my brain already, I refuse to give it a chance.
I shall generate hate signals at j00 all now, in an attempt to overcome the horrible pain this game has caused me.  ?(  <-- not smell lines but actually hate signals.
