Inizializting World Errer

Ok every time a make a character i get all the way to the initializing world part of the Plaza screen and it doesnt do i thing, i let it sit there for 2 hours nothing!!!!!!!!!! ANY IDEAS, PLEASE HELP.....also i frequently get the dead link crap BUT I HAVENt EVEN BEEN ABLE TO PLAY I KNOW ITS BETA or ALPHA OR WHATEVR BUT IM SO FRUSTRATED HEHE, ANYWAYS.......HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPP!

calm - try waiting longer sometimes it takes a couple hours the first times - and as for the link dead - well read the forums - there are many discussions on this topic

if you actually wated that long your computer probibly sucks to much to play it.

I\'ve read a couple posts that say it takes a long time the the first couple of times you log on - why is it only the first couple of times? It gets better?

mine took a minute or 2 the first time. and almost a minute every time after that.

I guess it\'s rendering the lightmap or something, and then saves it to the harddisk, so it doesn\'t have to do it every time.
actually it shouldn\'t do that because it\'s already done in the files you download, that\'s why most of us load in 2 minutes the first time, but on some computers it does it again (don\'t know why though) so you have to wait for a few hours  

at least that\'s what I understood from what I read on these boards  :-)

Darn you Evanchild!  It takes me 5 or 6 minutes to log on.   And I think about 30-60 Minutes when I first did so.

I can\'t beat that, but 45 secs is what I wait in general...
