Well there was an outage in the NE United States and some of the SE of Canada.  Hehe, anyone notice a lack of people on the server? :P

hehe - and what about that worm?  if it was the cause of the power outage (which incidentally killed a couple people)... the creator of that worm better have covered his tracks well...

Umm... obviously the worm couldn\'t have caused the outage Dril, it\'s non-destructive.  The nuclear-reactors shut down because they need outside power btw.

hehe - I havn\'t kept up with the news - the idea of the worm causing it is just something that was blurbed on the news... but then again the news is having a feeding frenzy right now...

Hi,

1) PS is a world wide game, so even if the east coast doesnt\'t have any power, it won\'t heavily affect the number of people playing PS. (America isn\'t the world...;))

2) Since there are lots of player on PS using Linux, even a Worm wouldn\'t decrease the number of players dramatically...:D
(btw, the worm didn\'t affect Win98 like systems, only unpatched NT based afaik)

Yes it is! :P:P:P:D

Anyway, I know that the worm wouldn\'t effect PS it is relatively non-lethal.

Yeah Dril, I heard it started at a GM plant.

I think the power outage was caused by bad management
while the original power outage could have been anything it casued a chain reaction becasue most power stations want to run at 100% theres no room for the surplus power coming from the original power station causing that power station to go and so on and so on untill you manage to get rid of all power on the east coast

America\'s not the world Australia is. Hey just out of interest does America have a Rugby Union Team

Actually no, but lacrosse is becoming popular.

100% Power output probably, that\'s the danger of capitalism.  They\'re working on way to get money to upgrade the grid now (without charging anybody, but that\'s not going to work :P).

well were having power troubles here in holland cuz the weather is to warm ( they can\'t make enough power when the water is too warm ) and trust me it sucks but we had no lack of power here. and the worm is only anti microsoft not anti everything  ;)
