updater pcclient.exe stuck

grrrrrr i wanna play the game and i cant i played it for like 5 min before in windows mode and i asked how do i make it big mode they told me to go to setup and change it and then to update then i started updater and then went to eat a half hour later when i came bak it was still loading the pcclient and when i closed it and tried to play it said that the pcclient was missing can i plz get help about this

Seems like your client is messed up. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling PlaneShift on your pc.

After that try running the updater again.

okk....there\'s an updater?! umm...i dont know what to do... i dont seem to have an updater....

Coolskater, did you ever get yours to work after you reinstalled? Or did you reinstall?

Im curious, cause I am having the same problem... and since I\'m lazy, I didn\'t wanna have to go through the process of reinstalling until I found out whether or not I had to.

Everyone has an updater. Run the Updater.exe file in your root PS directory or point to Start, Programs, PlaneShift, Update.

It sounds to me as if you two tried to download the files and something messed up during the transfer. Perhaps the server that holds the files temporarily went down? Perhaps the files corrupted on their way? Try to update again.

It must of just been down for a bit.  After coming back and reading your post, I figured what the heck and I\'d try it again.  It worked first try.  Glad I didnt have to do actually do anything except wait.
