exactly - if you don\'t want to deal with those short attention span people - just join a meritable guild and you can give any knuckle draggers the cold shoulder :D

Sorry I guess I\'m one of the people who\'ll only start playing once stats are introduced... Most of the time I\'m on the forum.

I will most miss being able to jump about five times higher than any dwarf should be able to.  I mean seriously, I can jump higher than I am tall.   :D

But then we won\'t be able to play leapfrog! Unless crouch is introduced...

aaalthough......      ;-)

I\'ve got the MB server code and client software...  I don\'t see why it would be difficult to backport any CB optimizations to MB and set up an \"online community\"...  :D

Remember, MB is still there for those who are warming to the strangely attractive idea of a 3D chatroom.  EverQuest has no point.  It\'s like Freemasonry...get levels.  Planeshift is even more pointless, at least as it is now, and it\'s just a bunch of people chatting!

Ah well, we\'re the testers.  We\'re the nerds.  I dunno about you all, but that\'s why I joined PS; to test.  I don\'t play games!  I think I might bow out as it becomes a game and I find myself in a room full of game-players instead of nerds.  Like those who like to build stadiums getting together with those who play baseball...

Well, you all have my number.  (AIM, YIM, ICQ, homepage, etc.)  I will probably stick around PS with CB, since it still won\'t be a full release.  :-?  If there are bugs to find, well dad-gummit it\'s my duty!

Funny, I never really thought about it before.  I was always enthusiastic about seeing the next version and only slightly curious as to whether I would miss exploiting bugs.  I never thought about how it would greatly change the crowd!
Read my Say\'s Law paper on my homepage!
I\'m here to test Linux PS and maybe find a friend or even a girlfriend, and jump from rooftop to rooftop.  ;-)

Morrowind...yeah, that was a good levelling system.  You didn\'t have to worry about choosing skills, since what you used most automatically got to be the best.

But yeah, the crowd is gonna change.  I personally am more into the really serious RP aspect--so don\'t expect to see me OOC once things get completed.  I\'m the sort of player you either won\'t be able to stand, or will wish there were more of.

I just hope most of the current crowd stays.  They\'re good people.

Morrowind\'s leveling system is a bit cheap ( err pardon the pun here ) because you can buy your skills.  After a few romps though some of the dungeons I have more then enough money to get all the skills I need.  Just setup a mark spell in front of creeper, clear out a dungeon, drop everything at the front door. Run naked through the dungeon picking up all the loot and drop it all at the front until the dungeon is picked clean.  Then pick up everything ( I\'ve been +1500 overweight sometimes ) and teleport back to creeper and sell the lot.

I\'ll bet you anything that the only monster\'s we\'ll see are cute little goblins/trolls and a few animals such as wolves or giant rabbits. :P

Or they might add spiders... or eight-legged raindeer... or big mutated cheesecakes on legs... or three-headed killer skeletal gerbils from Hell...

...maybe not. :D
