hmmm... the setting department can be easily equated to the \'Dungeon Masters\' of the game.  Although don\'t get me wrong because devs are free to cross departments... for example Boonet is a 3D dude, but he also contributes to the setting department and the other areas...  Settings devs come up with the creatures, cities, quests, and anything else that a player will encounter in game.

Edit: don\'t confuse the \'dungeon master\' analogy with the game masters who help players ingame in other mmorpgs - that is not what I meant.
