Cohdra, just so as not to disappoint you, this thread refers to classes people will model after, not choose.
There are no actual classes in PS, the reason being there is high emphasis on roleplaying, so not everyone in the world will be a fighter, mage etc...
To become a \'warrior monk\', you would just take skills in the martial arts schools, not choose the class monk.

I want to be a medium ranger/paladin type person... and your local weapon/armorsmith :)

but I strive for that in all games and go nowhere... hope this game is different :)

I just like having a nice longsword for close range. but being a stalker with my bow, screw shields though... some nice chainmailish/leather type armor and a few healing spells and im good to go :)

Fighter, or in this case warrior as it is called.

And NO not because i\'ll be doing mostly \"bad\" things \'n fighting, i see myself more as an explorer of sorts. It\'s the profession/role that suits me the best simply because i like it (somewhat general profession).

I\'ve been playing this kind of character ever since i started playing AD&D computer games since \"Eye of the Beholder\"!

TY for posting this.  When I read  \"Character Creation\"
I sort of got that idea, but it\'s nice to hear it in a bit more detail  :)

I\'ve always liked monks from RPG\'s, so I will definitely shape a character in that direction...maybe a bit of magic as well.  I haven\'t decided on anything else yet...I like exploring/searching/scavenging though

well, it seems i will be something that you would call a palladin, thou i dont want it to be one.
Its just that every heavy armor melee fighter with healing spells is a palladin, so gues il then be one...

I\'ll be the exploring type, although I\'ll also be an armour smithy and a Melee Fighter. (My preferred weapon is the large Double-Edged Axe.)
