I\'m going to be a merchant, though since I\'ll be selling magic supplies I\'ll probably be a wizard and an alchemist as well, and probably a bit of crafting too (for making all those cool magical knick-knacks).

How I set my timezone:

I didnt know that, I dont play D&D much. All I know is that games like NWN and baldurs gate which use D&D rules have Cleric as the healing class. You cant heal at all if you choose necromancy.

One of the reasons I think the devs choose to have no classes in planeshift are the class restrictions of other RPGs.  No restrictions, no titles, and no cleric can\'t use a sword stuff.  There are only different skills.  The more you practive the greater your skills - the greater the skills the better you can do stuff.

Go ahead mage pick up that sword healer just try not to cut yourself cause you have had no time to practice with swords - all you time has been spent trying to become a better healer.

So Xodron, be as evil as you want - he he he

I know that you can choose to be anything you want, which is one thing which makes planeshift different. I suppose you can follow any way of magic(s) so You can be good at everything. Btw, I was reffering to the class Necromancer, not the School. Sorry if i confused you. :)

Check pg 190 of the D&D players handbook. All healing spells are Conjuration not Necromancy. Necromancy has nothing to do with healing.

must be the new d&d then... Haven\'t played that much...

Although I fail to see the logic in conjuration magic being the governing magic for healing...

But who cares about this anymore :D :P it\'s really just a stupid discussion as to whether a necromancer is allowed to be evil or not.. it\'s all up to the character who plays him/her whether or not you wish to be evil... if people around you see you as evil, even though you aren\'t, then the people are naive and pitiful... :P

Ok maybe that last spell is a bit too powerfull.  I am sure it will be nerfed when the game goes into final.

How much for cleaninng my house? I\'m gonna be a mighty wizard.

How to clean house the MMORPG way...

First buff with:
Strenght of Pinesol spell  (10 mana)
Haste of housewife spell  (10 mana)
Eagle Eyes of Mother-in-law (10 mana)

then summon...
Soap and Water Elemental (150 mana)
Dimentional bag of trash holding (10 mana)

and finnally cast...
Whirling Wind of cleaning (60 Mana)

Total cost
 250 mana points

Note: depending on the mess additional bags of holding may need to be cast.

Hopefully I\'ll be a light fighter but I\"ll be concentrating mostly on Alchemy and Herblaw.
My name is NOT pronounced, \"Kway-per,\" it\'s pronounced \"Kye-per.\"
