Error after loading world

i have created a character but when i connect it says loading world for ages then after i wait i get this error:

the instruction at \"0x01082831\" referenced memory at \"0x00000020\". The memory could not be Written\".

this closes the game, how can i fix it???

Hmm... how much RAM do you have? It seems PS is running out of virtual memory, however this could also be caused by faulty/old RAM sticks in your machine.

I have the same problem, world is loading very long, and after 5-10 minutes my computer is crashing down.
And it also sayz something about out of memory.

I have
AMD Duron 1200 Mhz
Geforce II MX 400
128 SDRAM
WIN 98

What do u mean by faulty RAMS?
Hmmm other games are running without a fuss, only problem i have with this comp is that sometimes it crashes down while on net or in Windowed Apllications.
Sometimes is getting very often.

Well, you see, at the moment PS eats a lot of RAM, and Im not quite sure that your 128mb sdram is enough. Although, it could be running out of virtual memory. To increase that, look for the guide that our beloved Moogie posted.
