How many others have got the lag???

You know what I\'m talking about. You log on, no errors except maybe taking a bit long to connect, and wham. You\'re in!! You see the pretty areas, you hit the up key to move forward, and nothing happens. You frown.

you hit the up key again. Nothing happens. You jam the button multiple times and hold it down, but nothing happens.
But you\'re patient, so you sit and wait. And wait. and wait. after about 200 seconds, you move!! and you say to yourself, YES!! IT WORKS!!! So you move again.


and nothing happens.

How many of you have this problem? Sometimes for me, there will be about 2 seconds with no lag after about five minutes of waiting. And I\'m not talking control problems either: NOTHING moves. No rain, no sky, no other players.

And this obviously doesn\'t have anything to do with your computer or connection. I\'ve got:

ADSL, avg. 6mbps, shared between to computers
2.4 GHZ Intel Pentium Processor
64 MB NVidia Geforce Graphics Card
Windows XP Home (Eww) SP1
512 DDRAM
60 G HD, 7200 RPM

and I still lag every time.
So, how many of you other dude/ttes have it?
And if you know of a possible solution other than
Reinstall, Reboot, Reinstall drivers, Reinstall Windows, make sure you are facing screen (which I have all tried) can you give us (or me, if nobody posts) a reply??

Patience is the key, I think.  Most people have lag with this game, and it\'s just a matter of time before it\'s solved.  There\'s probably about 60% of the messages on this forum with people who are either complaining or commenting on the lag issues.  There have been a few suggestions as to how to solve it, which might be in something like the Newbie FAQ or something, if not, it\'s in at least one of the messages in this forum for sure.
