if you say something that was supposed to be secret, how can that be truth?
I mean if something is secret nobody knows about that;
if you tell everyone about it they will:
a) ignore that (result is same as you wouldn\'t say anything)
b) believe it (they will know your secret then)

so i don\'t see any good points of doing that, but yeah, i know...

Besides i don\'t take your guild seriously... if i would, we would have war by now...

All you do is trying to ruin Planeshift community. I see it works in guilds forum, since all threads are trashed with your posts. Still some people think your guild is a good idea, which is just sad...
Happily you guys aren\'t taken seriously in-game, which is good, cause i think lots of people keep playing only because of friendly community there...
I just wouldn\'t want to see it get ruined by bunch of jerks...

I see what you mean... but Auran is just roleplaying. Right, Auran? If enough people expressed a true concern for the state of the community, the charade could easily be dropped.

I wouldn\'t find the Cabal amusing if I thought it was seriously trying to take the fun out of the game. If Auran was a real jerk and started flamewars/insulted people left right and center, I\'d get him banned. But I really believe this is not the case.

If the Cabal is becoming a thorn in the side, rather than a refreshing break, talk to him and find a solution to the problem.

i mean it\'s like some guy gets an idea of roleplaying a jerk, so he will be killing newbies and making other players mad. Even if his point is to roleplay and not ruin other people game, he\'s still doing it...
and that is pretty selfish thing to do...
getting yourself more fun on cost of others. Pretty jerky to me...

Good point. Although after clearly explaining his situation, he may be assuming that everyone else is roleplaying their anger towards him. Perhaps people need to make it clearer that they really don\'t like the Cabal idea anymore?

Obviously Drak you dont like the idea of roleplaying as the Bad guy or you would have done it yourself. Think then why RPGs are so popular. The first and foremost reason is that they allow ppl to lead a complete alternate life without any consequences. Second the similarity to real life and nonlinearity appeal to the Gamer.  Given the situation you cannot deny that if someone wants to play an evil character he/she has a right to do so. You dont play RPGs because they represent Utopia. I atleast play for the strife and challenge of it all. So if someone is willing to take all the public hatred and opposition onto himself to add a zest to the game you should thank them rather than scorn them. I bet you couldn\'t bear to be in my shoes right now. I could have started The Saints guild but what then would I have contributed to the game?

Moreover, about newbies, think of us as a motivation for them to play better and gain power and skill quickly . The weak are always the ones to suffer. If you oppose that you might just say Nature herself is unjust.  

So you\'ll have to admit that if good is essential, evil is primal. Without us what would you guys do? Why would anyone want defenders if there was nobody to defend against .

like that necromancers guild... i see how all those secret meetings and making those rituals can be fun... kinda gothic
though i just love medieval knights culture, and i want to get as much fun from RPG as possible...
so i\'m hero-knight character...
