:D If I could have your attention I would like to officially announce that I am ditching my female Enki character for a male human one. Some people saw playing as the opposite sex as disturbing and I really don\'t know what planet they\'re from, but in an effort to keep the peace I will bend to their will.

Now, there is a problem. I really don\'t want to make a new name (IE TheJedi). Is there any way I can have my current character deleted so I could continue to use the same callsign? I can pm you my username and password so you know my ownership is authentic.

Either way, I would now like to be considerd a human male. In celebration of this event I will post the first chapter of my fanfic, Test of the Jedi. ...Tomorrow. :D

Aww... I don\'t think you should be forced to change. I have expressed my opinion on this before and I hope it didn\'t contribute to you feeling you had to do this.

Still, if you\'re sure... :(

umm...how about getting an RP name, those are the rules.

EDIT: NOW they give a new rank?  I remember grono and kada complaining about that forever

Actually, you did contribute to this decision. I had thought you didn\'t really mind, but when you posted your views in the Flamers Forum thread I was taken aback. I had no idea you felt that way. That, and the fact that those views are shared by many people on the boards has driven me to do this. Seems individuality is not appreciated.

Yeah, it kinda puzzles me when guys play/rp as girls...

The only problem with guys playign female Enki is when guys try and hit on them. hehe

Well, there\'s a problem with that. You see, ver since the first time I ever joined a public forum I decided that I would choose a name and that name would be my online presence. Any and Every account I had would, if possible, go by that name. I chose Jedi because it\'s simple and it constantly gives me something to work towards. I always feel the need to justify the name Jedi. Now, I can\'t even imagine taking on any other name. :D I mean, for gosh sakes, people at school are calling me Jedi. :rolleyes: No, I can\'t take another name. It wouldn\'t be me. I guess I\'ll just have to wait for CB, which supports multiple characters.

That\'s another problem, ym. You wouldn\'t believe how many guys, mostly newbs, have said something sexual to me. When I\'m in-game I take it in stride, usually I don\'t mind -- I am, after all, playing with an attractive character model ;) -- , but when they say vulgar things like, \"come here foxy b*tch\" (only happened once) I just get ticked off. Geez, can\'t guys think with the head on their shoulders for a change? Oh well, with this human male body if a guy says that, I know to be afraid...very afraid.

LOL! the B word is cencored to peanut. :D

Yeah I know exactly what Jedi means about the name thing.  I do the same thing with Wedge... grrrrr except it was already taken in MB.  But that all changes in CB, so I\'ll be back to me then.  And uh yeah, I never saw the thread about males playing females or whatever that was, but I think that\'s awesome.  Since we\'ll be having multiple characters avaliabe in our accounts I\'d pry make one of them female too.  And anyone hitting on a female character outside of an RP sense is an idiot as far as I\'m concerned.  For cripes sakes it IS a RPG, and by definition who you are in reality is irrelevant.

My thoughts exactly, Wedge! Finally, someone else who understands the true nature of RPGs! That\'s why I hate it when someone asks ASL (Age Sex Location) in-game. Who the h3ll cares? I\'m not playing the game because I want to know people in RL (\'cept wit Moogie :p), I\'m playing the game to have fun and maybe see things from the other side of the spectrum.

Just for argument\'s sake, I don\'t see how it is fun to play so many different characters (especially ones different from yourself), I mean, are you not satisfied with who you are?  Maybe that\'s why I can\'t get \"into\" games like some people do, I can imagine being someone else, but I don\'t really want to be.

But the rules say to pick a RP name, whether are not that will be enforced I don\'t know, but it has been to a certain extent (no #\'s and such in game)

Yeah, the names are ok (although annoying, I don\'t see much of a difference from stealing someones work like an essay and stealing names they create) but the \"The\" part is not needed, which is my problem with it, I don\'t care if you don\'t create your own name.

Well, depending on your age, you probably know your own body fairly well. :D That is true for 99% of men and 98% of those will say it\'s not. ;)
