Opening PS

Well after doing the run_me_first file it says i need to open PSV0.2.010.exe so i did, well when i open it i get this ERROR titled NSIS ERROR and on it it says the following message...

Installer corrupted or incomplete.

This could be the result of a faild download or corrpuption from a virus

If desperate, try the /NCRC command line switch (NOT recommended)

Help please!

Well, it seems the installer is corrupt.  If you still have your parts, you should try checking the md5s.  Information on this is found on the download page on the website.  Download the part(s) whose checksum doesn\'t match that listed on the page.

I haven\'t used that particular MD5 program, so I don\'t know how it takes its arguments.  However, unless its a window application, it takes its arguments on the command line.  Open the command prompt and cd into the directory with the files (and the md5sum.exe).  Generally, you can use a \"-?\" or \"/?\" argument to get a list of arguments.  Most likely, you\'ll simply pass the filename as the argument, but, as I said, I\'m unfamiler with that particular program.

It\'s dead easy, start the command prompt and go to your dir where you downloaded the planeshift parts and the md5sum.exe to.
Execute the md5sum.exe file using the filename you want to check (ex. md5sum.exe psv0.2.010.part1). This will give you the checksum which you can compare to the ones given on the site. If they don\'t match up your file is corrupt
