I think that Planeshift has the chance to tap into one of the things that isn\'t seen in many RPG games, and that I, personally, would absolutely LOVE to see. Where there\'s a lot of action in cities, rather than out in the wilderness. If you\'ve ever read any of Raymond E. Feist\'s books concerning Jimmy the Hand, you know what I\'m talking about. I think that cities should be used as a place of adventure, not just a place to restock on supplies, or socialize at the tavern.

The reason I think that Planeshift would be a good candidate for this sort of adventure is that Yliakum is a closed environment. A lot of the space could be taken up by a vast city, which would emphasize gameplay in urban areas.

Dude, i don\'t know if you\'ve ever played Myth of Soma, but if you want cities with a lot of activity you sure have to try that one    Those cities are FULL with people making clothes, making food, selling, buying, chatting up, doing quests, just running around, doing guild related stuff...

But hey yer right, Planeshift owns them all It will rule and it will be free...That\'s GOOOOOOOOD And aye, them cities will be full with activity

theres should be more quests or some kind of action inside cities, never thought of that before

Yes, having action INSIDE of the cities would be great.

Like during  the night, there could be thief NPC\'s/assassins.
Maybe you could kill those, and get a reward at the city hall.
Or cities could fight each other  
Would be great

edit: but perhaps this thread would be better of in the wish-list

Lol, the cities fighting each other has already been posted, and to a great effect, people like it. I think that city fighting would be good in certain cities, but not all, we wouldn\'t want noobs to get splated as soon as they spawn would we.

That\'s why, imho, you should only be able to become a citizen (and get your own house in a city) at a certain level.

I like the roof jumping in MB, even thought it is a glitch. It should be carried over to the next version, minus the jumping up vertical walls bit.

Hmmm...Whatever ) Though I would also like to be able to walk on the rooftops in further versions... It\'s cool But remember, when you want lotz of activity in the cities, really lots, your city will have to be bigger... Well maybe other cities in later versions will be bigger aye
