Official Planeshift IRC Chat server ?!?
« on: October 02, 2003, 08:15:25 am »
Hi everyone... Ive been looking through the web site and the forums to try to find the official IRC Server for planeshift.. ive gotten these results

irc.feenode.com

irc.quake.net - When there, and in the topic it had something about Animals in the topic... something bad about animals..

planeshift.ath.cx - Went there, but then seen these others..

Can someone give me the correct server/channel?

irc.freenode.com = where devs and the board moderators hang out

irc.quakenet.net = noobs

planeshift.ath.cx = oldies(WARNING! Link presides there.)

For you, I recommend quakenet. For questions, go to freenode or just look on these boards. The third has a warning for a reason.

If you don\'t need to go to the dev channel, go to planeshift.ath.cx if you can put up with Link...quakenet is just stupid (but it, for some reason, is the current official one)

lots of netsplit on quakenet these times :-(

If you are not-english you may try these channels at quakenet:
#planeshift.de (Deutschs)
#planeshift.fr (Fran?ais)
#planeshift.it (Italians)

I like the quakenet.ORG one. It has many more people to talk to, and is usually way more active than the two others together.  :)
