Stuck!

I have been playing planeshift for about a week now.  Although i did experience the infamous lag issue quite often, i never really had any serious troubles.  However, yesterday i went to log on my character and couldn\'t play.  I noticed that it took a longer amount of time to initialize the world when this happened.  And when i get in game i cannot move (AT ALL!)  I cannot type either, hence the /spawn command does not work.  Although the chat construct does show a few comments from other players, it is greatly lagged (a few comments every 5 minutes or so.  My character is on the steps facing the middle fountain.  This is not just typical lag, for i have experienced that alot before.  And yes, i have ran the updater and i created a new character and he worked just fine, the problem seems to only occur with this character or the spot in which i logged off last with him.  


Specs:

3.06 HT p4

1 gig Ram

Intel motherboard 800mhz front side bus

Geforce 4 :  64 mbyte with latest drivers

College T1 Network ethernet connection

I don\'t believe my specs should be what is causing this for they are well above average.

Nobody has answered because nobody has an answer. The problem you\'ve experienced isn\'t unique, but there\'s just no solution. You could try leaving your computer on for hours or holding the forward key to see if your character runs out of this lag-trap, but other than that, there\'s nothing you can do.

ive fixed this for quite a few ppl now, its getting really common, its something to do with being in a too demanding position when u log in, pm me ur name n pass n il sort it asap =)
