The Cabal : The Fourth reign of Chaos

Greetings all. True to my custom I have created a new Cabal thread as the third one has run into seven pages. I request all you guys to haul your carcasses here. Having to read a thread beyond seven pages is just plain annoying. For your convenience I\'ll sum up the last thread.

The Gathering Darkness :
 The Cabal grows stronger by the passing day. Our tentacles reach deep and far within various guilds. The knowledge harvest has begun.

Drachion: Epitome of Evil or Delusional Imbecile?
Do the cultist ramblings of a demented mind make for good roleplay?

Anyway besides that I think Drachion is fun but not very bright. His Satanist views may appeal to kids for a while but everything has a way of fading out. Draklar and Dorbian might think of him as the epitome of evil but I prefer to reserve my opinion.

To Drachion:

Yes Drachion I appreciate your overly zealous but more or less useless resume that you gave to us but to join you\'ll need to fill out our form at the guild site with some real information. I am sure your cultist approach is fine but we cannot run the guild based onfanaticism. It fails to rake in the moolah. You have the Osama approach but we prefer Bill Gates. The only reason I am interested in you is because your approach is sorta unique and I feel that under proper tutelage you could make the big times. Very well then carry on with what you are doing.

To Xalthar-  Hey Xalthar I grow impatient. Are you going to join pal??( Let me know if not.

As you might have missed I told you that I would join with an Alt.. My main\'s status will not have any influence upon anything, such as spying within the AO.. Just to get that right, and yes I am thinking of joining with an alt, so expect something soon, allright...

To the Arcane Order, no you have no reason whatsoever to fear getting infiltrated by the cabal.. Which I don\'t think you had anyway...

Considering the goal of the Cabal has been to infiltrate and bring down guilds from the inside, I don\'t think I would be comfortable knowing that one of the members of my guild was in the Cabal as well, you are lucky if the AO is that understanding Xalthar.

As for Drachion, I quite like to see the rantings of an evil fanatic, completely self absorbed and obsessed in his own beliefs from time to time - some people roleplay this very well indeed, although why he\'d want to take over the Cabal is beyond me

Father Zaylik was very effective in such a role in the past because he remained in his evil fanatic persona, well he did until he finally couldn\'t take anymore of people calling him an arrogant idiot, so had to come OOC to point out that he was in fact roleplaying

Considering, the character I will play with in the cabal will be an Alt, they don\'t have any controll whatsoever over my Main in the Arcane Order.. I don\'t really care if their goals are to bring down all guilds from within, if they are taking on the AO they will do so without my help, and with all the opposition I can hail down upon them with my main... Otherwise, I\'ll stay friendly

Well I post this as a final call to all ppl who wouldn\'t mind seeing links to their sites on the cabal guild home. I have Evey and Kada right now. But I\'d like all of you to confirm again just in case there has been a change of heart.

Stop scaring off the potential CabaliX(. I read what you said to Skwirldude. Dont make me come after you:P. The kids are scared enough of us already why add to it.

To the potential Cabali-

Dont believe moogie\'s half baked notions my friends. The Cabal is one of the best and most profitable organisations you can join. Some may call us evil but they are ignorant. We are all about profit(nothing evil about that right). Infact we are one of the few guilds who are actually doing something besides calling guild meetings on rooftops and drinking tea. We dont waste our time in crap like that. We mean strictly business. The only requistite for joining us is broadmindedness and guts to face opposition. The Cabal is not for the squemish who flinch at the thought of blood or killing. If you are inclined to be a self glorifying nincompoop then there are plenty of other guilds for you (Defenders, Rangers, Mirth to name a few). Here at the Cabal we need ambitious and practical people who are not averse to the thought of being a bit underhanded to earn money and power.

You can\'t stand the truth so you must insult one that shows it. Maybe you should stop listening to fools that give you words soaked with false and anger, and start listening to ones that carry wisdom within. It wouldn\'t hurt you, maybe you\'d get yourself free from the world of lies and ignorance, also known as Cabal. Thy guild is about lies so much, that you get fooled yourselfs. You guys believe that Cabal is powerful guild, that you are going straight for the victory. You don\'t see that You\'ve done worst thing spy could ever do, you showed yourselfs to the rest of Yliakum. By your berserk run of showing off with your guild, you forgot about defense. What has happened can not be undone. No strenght will destroy Cabal, it is not needed. You\'ll be allowed to make your run towards victory, but when you\'ll get too close you\'ll be stoped at once. Standing in darkness you didn\'t notice danger that could disallow you to finish thy goal. You let the darkness into your minds, got corrupted, and you actually believe that nothing can stop you. Now the danger of Cabal\'s evilness has been vanquished. Covered with ignorance you don\'t see in what way you could be defeated.
Xordan, i don\'t care what has someone told you about me. Also i don\'t see logic in just because someone told you i\'m a joke, i should be a jester. People say various things. Some words are borned from anger and stupidity. Another thing is that someone might be just voices in thy head...

Well Duh! Drak! Its propaganda buddy. You\'ll never make good PR. I know we are evil pal but thats not the point. When writing propaganda literature one has to point out the good facts and blurr out the bad. Besides twisting the truth is also a good tactic.

And another thing:

You quote too much. Cant you present a point without using what others have said as back up. The Defenders are doomed buddy. They\'ll be the first to gp down with such childish leadership.

Also:

How many times do I need to say this. Do not worry about the Cabal\'s strategies. When the time is right you can be sure that you\'ll die at our hands. We tell you what we want you to know and if you think that it is stupid then good for you. All I want to say is : We don\'t crave public approval. We are not like you acceptance hungry fools. We know what we want and we\'re out to get it, and Hell , get it we shall.
