Loading Tips

I\'ve been playing PS a little too long yesterday and i was getting really annoyed by all the n00bs asking the same questions over and over again, so here is my idea.
Since the loading always takes a while, why don\'t you let it show some tips, like: press M to change the camera, there are no monsters in this version yet, etc.
This might stop all the n00bs from asking the same questions all the time.

Ah, now that\'s a good idea. I\'ve seen game where it gives details and stuff while it\'s installing, which works well. The only downpoint to this is that in CB it should load alot faster (I hope) so it wouldn\'t really work.

I\'ve added this to the official SourceForge request thingie, and i don\'t think the loading in cb will be so fast you won\'t even have the time to read 1 line of text..
it could also say, press H in game to get all tips or something.

Like in NeverWinter Nights? But I think It gets a little tierd of reading noobie help all the time you log on. But, course it is a good idea, because noobs always ask the same questions.

Maybe there could be an option to turn the tips off, for people that annoy themselved more about tips then they do answering noob questions all the time :P

Perhaps things other than just tips can be shown. Things like very short stories, descriptions of monsters and items, among othe rthings.

I like the idea of turning such things off. For the first connection, perhaps it could only be a tip, although other connections could be differecnt things.

What do you think?

short stories! my god i hope not! If it takes so long to load i can read a short story then Laanx help us! Loading that long could drive even the most restrained priest of laanx mad!

i like helping noobies out :] ...but i like this idea :D ...little hints and tips ...maybe even a help-screen in game (or in the menu)? :rolleyes:

well i think we should all hope that log on time does not take so long that we can read a short story... That would be horrible and after getting into the world I would have to go Xena Warrior Princess on the bar maid with my Mug/Lighsaber...
