Put everything on the back-burner for this wish
« on: October 22, 2003, 03:00:15 pm »
All these wishes i see are nice and all, but what good do they do if people cannot join the game? none.  My wish is for a simple and easy download/creation.  currently i\'ve ran into over 30 problems trying to connect and create a character, that\'s just simply too much in my opinion, and many won\'t be as persistant as me, guess it\'s a good quality heh.  no idea how it could be done, but all i can say is right now it\'s just way too much of a pain for people to start.

This is just a tech-demo, all of these problems will hopefully be gone in the future.
FYI, no one is working on MB, everybody is working on CB ;)
Browsing the forums when I\'m bored, nothing more.

Well, as Caldazar said,  it is a game in progress so there are bound to be problems here and there for some people.   I can only vouch to say that it works on my platform.  There is no way we can test with every different type of hardware/software/internet connection/etc.   We try our best to make sure there are no bugs but we will never be 100% successful ( no program ever is ).

Another problem is that if I cannot reproduce the problem then it is very hard for me to fix it since I don\'t know when I have fixed it or not.  Then we really depend on the person who has this problem to put the work in and figure out what is different about their setup that can cause this.

Again the entire team tries very hard to work out any bugs that we find and we understand that people have problems.   We can only ask that you be patient with us and try to give as much information as possible.

If u mean that u think we should have a plain
\'name class attribute sys\' then, NO.
At the moment, there are bugs, so if u gotta crap sys and crap net connection, stop complaining. Wait till the next version.

Guys, you all got a working system. If you couldn\'t install this game than you would  probably want a fix to your problem. So the character creation is a big issue.

That sead, I think the character creation doesn\'t give so many problems. I got on after just 3 tries. It tooks 3 tries because my computer freezed after so many minutes (didn\'t know that all the features you could select were fake), so I had to kill the client some times.

So I don\'t see any problems with the character creation.
