The Pint was being pessimistic. And that motion obviously didn\'t go through, so now he\'s supporting them, as he sees that they aren\'t gonna pack up and come here.
But what do you expect us to do? He is offering the support... there isn\'t much to be done, he is expressing that he does want Defenders up and running again. We will support Defenders if they ever need our help.

I think the whole problem is simple misunderstanding; Half-Pint thought that the Defenders were dead since their leader left them, which you, apparently, know isn\'t the case.  I don\'t think its exactly public knowledge, as I certainly didn\'t know that the Defenders are still alive; since, as you said, that buisness was going down in the members-only section of your forum.

So then, at least wait until the ol\' dwarf gets back in town to defend himself, no need to soil the good name of either Mirth or the Defenders.

I thought Mirth were the good guys..... Asking a guild to completely disband and join up to your own is nearly an act worthy of The Cabal. (But not quite, we wouldn\'t ask. )

uhh... yea Grakrim... Defenders are more active ingame than both Rangers and Mirth
it was never said Defenders aren\'t active anymore, look at thebbb - they don\'t have leader, but they\'re still active.
But my point is that if he can\'t help them to rebuild, he could at least stay loyal to them and not help them to fall
And actually some of members were posting from time to time in public part of forums and he knew that...
Furthermore he was pointing it to Defenders, therefore active members.
unless you think someone that is inactive would check forums from time to time

He thought the guild was pretty much dead... he had come back after like a week\'s vacation, give the guy a break.

And you say Half-Pint never supported the Defenders? When were the Defenders ever in need of support? What do you think he should have done?

Yea, he knew some of members are still active and he was pointing this to them. Hmm...  I remember Defenders guild had only 4 members for a long time... we weren\'t \"pretty much dead\" tho...
Guild isn\'t dead as long as there are active members in it, but hey! he could make Mirth grow so why not?

Davis: He didn\'t stop when I deleted his advertisement, he just did it again. To tell the truth I didn\'t believe it was Halfpint at the beginning (you can see that on the thread). Look at the whole arguing I had to make to stop him doing that.
