Help with setup!

When I set up my character using the quick set up, I come to a screen that lists four things: server, login name, name and name again. I type different things but at the end I get a message that the name is in use. Which name is that, the login name or the next two names? I have tried different names and can\'t come up with a name not in use.

Can someone help me?

PS, if a developer reads this, please oome up with a better way. Maybe a random name generator would work.

it only asks for your character name once..

Server: enter Planeshift server here
Name: enter character name here
Password: enter your password here
Repeat Password: enter the same password again.

if your name is in use try a more original one..

You cant have numbers, spaces, capitals or *? or anything like that.

NO! The Devs arent going to fix this, since its just pre-alpha. Everyone is working on the next release.
