Say, that is pretty cool, but...do you happen to have a high-poly version? Or at least a prerender-worthy one? That would look cool.

Edit: Didn\'t want to double post so I\'ll just stick them in here. ;)

TriLegion Equipment (subject to change or addition)

The TriLegion is talked about in my next chapter of TotJ.

Next I have a little ditty that I did in Photoshop. It doesn\'t really have anything to do with Planeshift, but it does refer to me as Jedi. :D It comes in two parts.

Part 1:

Part 2:

Wow, talk about self-gratification. I\'m too high on life. I need to tone it down.

Well, Enjoy. :D I\'ll be adding something soon.

Ooooh that looks much nicer now, reflection on the blade is more noticable with the pouch thingies to mirror.  I\'ve never made a single hi-poly thing in 3ds MAX, mainly coz\' I can\'t.  I\'ve never really had much of any training on how to use it, I was just forced to figure out how to model stuff when I had to make art for my game a year or so ago.  I don\'t really know anything about proper rending, materials, or animation, and I can just kinda make stuff up with box modeling.  Somehow I ended up having to do artwork for the game I\'m working on now too... and this time it\'s real-time 3d, not prerendered.  I\'m a programmer dammit!  But eh... forget that and let\'s say it\'s low poly so it could in theory be a game model  ;) .
Ninjas have feelings too.  Mostly they feel like dancing.

I started from nothing too, but I did the tutorial. ;)

The sword has a total of 22494 faces (not polygons), which is considered a gross overkill for something so simple.

Of those faces:

21600 are in the hilt
512 are in the handle
288 are in the pommel
56 are in the Jewel
and 38 are in the blade

My throwing knives are made up of...wait for it...two lines! :D \'S true.

Anyways, here\'s another shot of the \'weapons table\'. Added a staff.

I\'ll work on adding a dagger tomorrow and that should round out the collection. :D The tools of a Jedi.

Well, just FYI since I have no graphical suggestions, the \"jewel-holder\" is referred to as the pommel :P

I haven\'t drawn for a while.  But to contribute something, this was just a concept of how the tree could look in Tree Castle project.  Lately, a lot of inspiration, but no desire :) to draw.  I think I\'m giving it up as somewhat of professional ideas for future, and I\'ll stick to maybe drawing for fun.  But, hey, this is not a confessions thread, maybe I should post a damn pic

Very impressive, zaphar. Can\'t wait to see the finished version. :D

Sweet, I like it, Sashok. You definitely have a style all your own. Keep up the good work.

I\'ll just stick this in here. Man, I haven\'t drawn in so long. Don\'t mind my suckines. :D I think I overdid his abs and he looks a little out of it, but oh well. :]

Insults from 3:00 to 5:00, I\'m here till Thursday. Try the veal. :D

I mostly just draw my pic in pencil. then scan it and outline it in photoshop and then color it.  I wish I had more desire to draw, then I would improve, but I don\'t.

Jedi: your 3dmax work is very impressive.  although I see some flaws in the scene such as shadow and reflection of the crystal :)  (maybe it\'s a glass) if it\'s some material, then how is it possible to see the reflection?  but still it looks really pro.  if you could do that without the tutorials you could do amazing stuff.

by the way, I recently discovered another artist on web that I\'m amazed with, here\'s her diablo pic.

here\'s the link

I didn\'t use the tutorials to make that stuff. I was just saying I did them a long time ago. I did make all that stuf by myself, of my own design. What do you mean about the crystal? Crystals do have reflections on their surfaces, they do cast shadows, and they can be seen in reflections. Is that what you were talking about?

what I meant was that the reflection from the handle, the bright crystal can not be seen on a material surface like any cloth.  you know what I mean?  unless it\'s some different material like leather.  heck, maybe i\'m wrong, i don\'t know.

plus, the angle of the shadow from the sword handle looks kind of crooked on the second pic.  maybe it\'s the way it\'s suppose to be, but I saw something wrong in that when I looked on the picture.
