Even tho I hate to raise this spammed thread, I think that\'s the best place to announce that :P
After long waiting, Ascar \"Silenthero\" Adenedhel finally took over the leadership over the Defenders guild.
He showed spirit of a true hero and I\'m sure he can lead Defenders from the dust back into the glory :)

I also ask not to raise any old topics from this thread, I just wanted to announce that Defenders are fully back.

Maybe you should let the guild announce what they want, it shows how active they are when someone who left the guild is still the only one who bothers to say something.

First of all if you didn\'t notice it yet, Defenders aren\'t forum-users and are active only ingame
Second, bug off Kiern, this is just announcement and I still feel some loyality towards them

If their not forum users then I see little reason to announce it on the forum...it\'s not your guild anymore dude, it\'s their job to keep us updated if they want more members, you shouldn\'t have quit if you want to do everything for them

If it\'s important, I see no reason why it shouldn\'t be announced on the forum. Nobody complained when Blitzers leadership changed (or something about the blitzers it was a while ago) and they are definately not a forum-based guild.

It\'s fine if they announce it, it just annoy\'s me that Draklar\'s the one telling us...don\'t get me wrong Draklar, I\'m just saying that the guild should be the one to bother to post this, sorry if they had to take time out of their day to post about their own guild...

EDIT:
Just to go into the forum part, if I for example joined The Defenders because of a post I saw on the forums, to me the guild would be inactive as I am primarily a forum-user at this point, the only reason I joined was because of the ad I saw on the forums...I then quit due to inactivity and join some other guild which has actual members I can talk to.

You may not agree with me but hopefully it\'s clear what I\'m saying

Yes, I see your point...
In a way, Draklar still leads the Defenders. He definately still has influence, and I think that makes him ok as their rep on the forum in regard to this thread.

Hahaha, I wish I saw this sooner, you should have told me sooner too Draklar, since I went and joined up with the Rangers. But now I guess I don\'t really care.

Kiern: this post has nothing to do with recruiting, it\'s just to show people that already know Defenders that they aren\'t in anarchy anymore.

I must say that I agree with Kiern...

At this point in development the community exists far more on the forums than ingame.  For a guild to truly be active at this stage, I believe that their leader (at the very least) should be active on these forums.

When there is an actual game, I am certain the active guilds will be the ones that are active ingame.  But for the moment...

I am VERY glad to hear that Defenders is no longer in chaos.  I hope you restore yourselves to your old status as soon as possible.  Could I possibly have the contact info for your new leader, so that we can discuss our alliance?

Hmm.....Blitzers are probably the least active guild on the foums right now, but we are VERY active in-game(maybe the most active guild in-game)

The community also exits much in-game.......I have met many ppl that I call \'friends\' while playing MB, but I have probably no friends that stay strictly to forums.

And to keep it OT, it is nice to hear that someone took charge in getting Defenders on the right track. I noticed Aineko had tried(a little) but it is nice to hear this.

Greetings to all of you,

as the new leader of Defenders guild I\'d like to introduce myself to the people on this board and put some things right:

As Draklar told you I took the lead in Defenders, together with my brothers and sisters I\'ll do my best to continue what Draklar started when he formed our brotherhood and recover the old strengh and status we have been known for.

Yes, I\'m very proud to tell you that Defenders are no longer in \"chaos\" as you might call it and we\'re getting organized at the moment to give the world of Planeshift one of its guilds back.

Still the goals and the attitude of Defenders didn\'t change and I want all allies and friends of Defenders to know that we are still with them and this change of leaders should change nothing about our relationships.

What brings me to the next point, some of you guys might think Draklar still leads Defenders in some way because he posted important informations here, but that\'s not right. Fact is: Draklar didn\'t want Defenders to split up and I still respect him for what he has made this brotherhood when he was the leader so I thought it should be his right to hand over the \"leadership\" in public...that\'s the reason why he announced me as the new leader of Defenders, nothing more, nothing less.

Sure, most of Defenders are more in game players than board visitors, and this includes me too, but in my new role as leader of a brotherhood like this I guess this has to change. Don\'t get me wrong, I\'m not going to spam here around or start senseless threads just to push the posting counter, but you can be sure that the board people will be informed about important news about Defenders brotherhood and I\'ll read this board as often as time allows it.

Guess that\'s all for now, if you have any questions about this topic feel free to post them here or contact me on the Defenders board I\'d be happy to answer all of them.

Great, SilentHero. :)
As I have said before, there is no doubt about our continued alliance.
And Draklar, I respect you helping your former guild organize itself, unlike some people *pokes kiern*.

Just a word to say that like most Defenders, i feel more fun in spending my online time INgame.

On the other hand, Defenders have a dedicated forum.
So, when i feel in a \'forum mood\', I use Defenders forum instead of this one.

This is in fact my first visit since I visited the Noobs FAQ two months ago. Just to tell you once again that the brotherhood is neither dead or in chaos.
