I am using a Intel celeron 650 mhz processor,  direct x 7.1, 376 mb ram, windows me, 6 mb onboard video card.
And the most common updated version of PS

When i load planeshift i use safe, software mode and it runs fine. The other modes don\'t even load the main screen before the computer freezes. I connect and on loading \"world\" the game crashes.  The error is \"Explore caused an invalid page fault in module SYMTRHK.DLL at 0187:011f12d1.\"
Then i click close and it says Explore error, you must reinstall windows. I have to click ok.  After a minute it says server unable to be connected to.  Then Computer freezes up.  I don\'t have to reinstall windows though. I did reinstall a while ago trying to fix errors but it is doing the same thing as before.  Anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks.

SYMTRHK.DLL is a file created by Symantec co., most commonly known for their anti-virus software- Norton Anti-Virus. [Edit: This file is also associated with a program called System Works.]

Before loading the game, close down the Norton system tray icon. Hopefully this will solve your problem. If it does not, I\'ll do a bit more in-depth research about the file and see what I can come up with.

there is an alternet dialup to connect to aol u can use, search about the net ull find it. it bypasses the aohell program and runs a simpler one that requires less memory and gives slightly faster speeds.

(aols expensive and sux, cant understand y so many ppl have it)

I think AOL is popular with parents as it gives them complete control over their children\'s use of the Internet, and foolishly believe it will prevent their kids viewing adult or harmful material on the net.

Just goes to show the amount of ignorance in parents with technology past their time, I suppose.

I am 15 and my mom pays for internet, she doesn\'t have any parental controls and really doesn\'t care what i look at on the internet.  She uses it because it has aim built in and it has all the read mail and write mail and stuff and doest care how fast it is.  I would rather use anything and sometimes i use netzero or juno for 10 hours a month.  Thanks for the help.
