Ya, I know. But if one can trace it, if one knows the IP and has some authority, he can contact the service provider to pinpoint and \"lock-up\" the person. Like with crackers...

Anyways, you\'re either going to restrict it too much and everyone\'s first character is going to be their last or too little and everyone will be everything. There\'s just too many debates that can go on over this subject for it to ever be solved. Can we just say multi-char players are frowned upon if they abuse it and let it be? ?(

NO.

I don\'t like the, bah...can\'t find the sinonime.

There\'s no way we players can know, if someone is double(or more) playing. This brings again the guild problem.

OK... but I\'ve *never* seen a game where this was effectively solved and I\'ve been on those where you were down right beaten day in and day out, ostracized from the community and verbally thrashed with both your primary and your secondary character if it was found out, and even in those games it sometimes becomes generally accepted. It\'s going to happen, it\'s nearly impossible to stop, and discussing it here till we\'re blue in the face ( :D  8)  :P ) isn\'t going to stop anybody who\'s going to try from trying.

Well, maybe we can find a solution, who knows?

And if it wasn\'t fixed in other games this doesn\'t mean it will or won\'t be fixed here. :P

I dont think thers a problem with multiple accounts.
In most other mmorpg\'s you are not limited to one charater.
It adds a lil diference to the game coz playing only one \'class\' can become boring.
Its the same with guilds, you may choose to join all of your characters to a guild if you particularly like it but being part of two doesnt mean that your not trustworthy.
If for example i wanted to play two totaly diferent chars, with diferent allignments that would mean i couldnt join a guild.
This is a RPG and people can choose to RP diferently, as long as they are kept seperate chars thers no problem.

Maybe not, but it\'s a little as if you were playing white and black sides at the same time  ;)
If find it too easy to be in several guilds at the same time. You can take the best part of each, and just ignore the problems because if it takes a bad turn, you can just leave your character and take another one.

I don\'t say that YOU would do that, but in the average, it will reduce the motivation of the players to strive for something in their guild. Besides, and especially if you disagree with the previous sentence, where do you find the time ?

or how about some sort of system where, if you switch to a different char, your other chars go into storage, and you can\'t switch back for say, a week realtime?  just a thought

I\'m not sure, Jessyn. I think the time can depend on the circumstances. It really ought to be up to the player to judge when he/she has to switch. Some players are on a lot, others not. Some are afk a lot  :D
