Dream of the Sarukai

Through the endless ages of time there was a powerful voice that could have said anything, but chose to say nothing, for he would rather dream.

We are a Chaotic Good Guild: while doing basically whatever we want to do, we also try to make Yliakum a better place.
We travel The World in search of Knowledge, Adventure, Wealth and Fun.
We will only fight should we judge that our guild or the good of the world is threatened.
Even thought we have ranks We are all equal.
We Vote on all Big Issues: Guild Priorities, Laws, Peace, War ect.

The Laws of Chaos
For the moment we will only have a few rules:
    * Follow the PlaneShift rules (no swearing, cheating,...)
    * Be polite and try to help other guild members
    * Try to be active (in game, on ps\'s forum, on our forum, OR on our  
       channel)
    * To have money for parties and equipment: everyone has to make donations but they can choose how much they want to give

Most guild work should be done by voluntaries.

This is the story of some Dermorians that built a big kingdom where everyone has been accepted. Living in peace, excellent trade, spiritual elevation, everythings were ok and more... people were happy.

And one night what was impossible to think happened... the Orcs that has never been a problem to defeat before came from everywhere and fight with a powerful organisation (in fact the same as ours). Moreover, someone, with evil purposes, opened the gates of the kingdom and the Slain began...

Not a lot survived. The soldiers had given their life, coming back to the kingdom to find survivor untill they die. And the prince, Mornglawar (means dark sunlight - taken from Sindarin), of the kingdom was saved by one of these strange orc officer. This one were banned for this action and educate the prince until he die (during something like 10 years).

When he was 20 years old (so not really a long time ago), the prince returned to Yannaeh\'s Kingdom and fund a strange world : there is nothing alive there but some monsters that were Dermorians before... something like dermorian zombies. And he was defeated by one of them.

Saved by an odd Sorcerer from the death. Mornglawar learn that he isn\'t the only survivor and that his people is waiting for a King...

So he came to meet his people and build another Kingdom called Edhelgarth. A kingdom where people could live in peace!

As you must already know this is a guild for people that speaks french at least. Its alignement is :

With a big organisation of government and a creation purpose, Edheliens are spiritualy powerful and their soldiers aren\'t too bad (even if a lot of them die this night...).

A ambassadeur (ambassador) is here to speak and help people from our and other guild. They are able to become a mediator between different guild.

A juge (judge) judges in case of a problem inside our guild and outside (if ambassadeurs think they won\'t be able to keep the peace). They will advices HirnCalad for or against war purpose.

A s?nateur (senator) is here to accept or refuse Chaceliers (chancellors) law propositions.

Apprentis (apprentice) are tested men before real acceptation. So they become initi?s (initiate) and start to work under project for example (there are a lot of different works in the guild : writers, translators, webmaster, 2D - 3D graphical staff, weapons and armour creators - if someone is interested I think we could show our work to PS dev if they are interested, and so one). A project is leaded by a Ma?tre (master).

And finally is it really useful to tell you somethig about Soldiers ? It\'s the defensive and offensive faction of the Kingdom, here to make the law be respected.

Everybody is the welcome to our home and if you have no guild and if you could speak french, we will be happy if you join us...

About Us

We are a guild that acts like an organisation into the fantastic world of Planeshift. We are a neutral guild: not good nor evil. We just act depending on what\'s happening in the game.

The guild is divided in 4 Circles (schools) which cover all areas. So, the guild is open to all kinds of players: everyone will find the right place in the guild depending on its interests/craft/class/... in the game.

Note: If you want to join us, you have to know that there is no restrictions about races, way of thinking, age or even religions.

Our Origins

Long time ago, a time that even the very old trees don\'t remeber, came to our world a very clever human. He had a gift: we could read the future, but couldn\'t tell to anybody his visions. The prediction wanted him to be alive for centuries, even thousand and thousand years.He lived years and years in a far land called Magnamund. Because of some wars and climatic transformation of the world, the Oraculu - it\'s how people called him - went away from his land with some followers. After months and months of nomad life, they finally discovered a fine place to stay and to live: they called Port Calem because of and old port was right on this place...

The Oraculu and his friends made an order called \"Magnaka?\"

Months, year, centuries have passed. The sons of the sons of many generations of the Oraculu\'s followers learn the Oraculu\'s philosophy. They try to reconstitue all the books where he writed his knowledge and spend their time learn and understand it. Recently, a reincarnation of the Oraculu into an alive mineral creature came troubling Port Calem: the Profeta. We don\'t really know what he tod to the elders, but they seemed very nervous. They orderer to  form a guild to represent the community and asked to leave Port Calem to explore far and fantastic lands unknown by us. We don\'t kown why We had to let down our still life... But something isn\'t going right... Something is happening... The world and the History will change soon....

Our Beliefs

We balieve that the knowledge is the base of all things. Even a warior have to possess some knowledges or strategies about fighting. We don\'t think the strengh wins the knowledge. We just believe that people who spend time to learn is better ready for an improvisation situation than the others. This is why we will pass on the philosophy of Oraculus the every player who wants to join us.

Ranks

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are a guild with a 5 levels system. The levels 1 to 4 are equivalent. The levels 5 to 8 are equivalent too. Level 9 is reserved to Profeta.

Aprendis (levels 1 to 4)
Apprentice

This is the lower level in the Guild. There are four different ways to be Aprendis according to the Circles:
1 - Focus Aprendis :: military
2 - Lumen Aprendis :: science & knowledge
3 - Solaris Aprendis :: misc
4 - Spiritus Aprendis :: magic & mysteries
Note: Ordered by alphabetical order and not by graduation.

The newcomers go to the Focus Aprendis with 0 points till the decided which Circle they want to join. They are recruits in our army.

When they integer a Circle they recieve 10 points.
Aprendis are members under observation by the superiors. They learn everything they have to know about the guild.
They have to follow studies in a Circle to become a Maistre in thei craft / class.
During the learning and evaluation time we strongle recomend to the Aprendis to chose a member in the Guild as protector (\"Tutelaris\"). This one will help them in their task and duties. He have to belong to the same Circle of the Aprendis.

The points go from 10 to 49. An Aprendis with 20 is more graduate than an Aprendis with 10. But Aprendis with 10 to 19 points have the same graduation.

Maistre Ka? (level 8 )
Master Ka?

They are the in the top of the Circles and the Guild. Among the Maistre Ka?, it will be Magnus Maistre Ka? (Great Master Ka?),

    * Magnus Maistre Ka?  (guild points: 95)
      They are the maximal autorithy into a Circle. If a Maistre Ka? is too much criticized or decide to leave its charge for any reasons, another Maistre Ka? will replace him temporarily or definitly. He is chose by a Guild vote.
      Actuals Magnus Maistre Ka? of the Guild:
          * Focus Circle :: Ashamn
          * Lumen Circle :: Okran (going to be replaced)
          * Solaris Circle :: Gatuno
          * Spiritus Circle :: Pelerimer
       
    * Maitsre Ka? (guild points: 90)
      In measure the Guild grows, Maistre Ka? will be nominated to second and help the Magnus Maistre Ka?. They can be maximum 4 Maistre Ka? by Circle.

Note: A Maguns Maistre Ka? or a Maistre Ka? can be relegated to inferior levels for any abuse of power or bad leadership.



Focus Circle
(the Circle of Fire)

It is the military circle. Here tou can follow a militar career. So if the combat is your passion, come to Focus Circle!

we will accept any type of character that has a fighting skill, other skill are accepted as well but aren\'t relevant.

*** About our guild:
We are the High Guard, a group of players who are dedicated to helping each other and to maintaining order and balance in the world, and probably the first democratic guild in Planeshift.

We try to maintain a balance between good and evil, a balance that we think is necessary in order for the world of Planeshift to remain a fun place to be in.

At all times, members of our guild should try to help each other. The Guard is the first place to look for help. Weather you are looking for advice or a helping hand in combat or exploration, you can turn to your fellow Guards. And in return, you will owe them the same - you must try to answer their questions when you can, and you will try to promptly intervene where and when your help is needed by a fellow Guard.

*** Who can join?
The High Guard are neither warriors nor mages, neither good nor evil. Anybody is free to join our guild. Promotion and ascension through our ranks is harder to achieve, however, requiring skill and dedication to the guild.

Though our guild has only recently been founded (in the early days of CB), our ranks have grown quite rapidly, and continue to do so. Will you join us also?

The Sentinels of the Ragnarok:

We have about 15 active members right now and we are looking for anyone who has the will to waste their lives playing a great deal and will be active in our forum.

Alpha:

The Sentinels of the Ragnarok (SoR) is a Chaotic Neutral guild. We enjoy the flexibility that we are afforded by our alignment as well. It allows us to be diverse in nature. Though, Chaotic Neutral guilds are often unpredictable, the SoR is unwavering in our quest for a relatively peaceful realm and are rise to prominence as a respected guild. We cannot rest until we fully grasp the Planeshift experience and will not falter on our journey.

Mission Statement

We are the ones who survived the destined Ragnarok? We are to reinvent what was good in the world, and hamper the evil. Our mission is complicated but lucid. The Sentinels want peace. A cooperation amongst men to stop the unnecessary tribulations of the enticement of Conflict. Let peace reign, but not through Order, through Chaos.

Rules:

1. Be respectful to all members and allies.

2. Be active: If you cannot be on for two weeks please notify me, Valbrandr.

3. Be helpful to all players of PS if applicable.

4. Respect all alliances.

5. Take an active role at the forum.

6. Use RP in situations that require it? for instance, while in the Tavern listen to one of Draklar?s Tales.

Our History:

The end of humanity had come and gone with the final battle, Ragnarok, between the Norse Gods and the evil giants from Muspelheim. The world regressed and fell into a terrible ice age. The last two humans wandered down from the Yggdrasil tree in a sullen attempt at replenishing the world. Hope had been lost? At the threshold of death, this man and women prayed to their fallen Gods for solace. This prayer awakened the final three Einharjar from their slumber in Valhalla. They had been put to sleep by the great Odin who knew the destiny of the Gods. These three brave Einharjar, Valbrandr, Induane, and the all-knowing Hyrcanus, who had been imbued with the memory of Munin, bestowed upon these two humans a time without hunger, without bitter cold, and without suffering. They came to be known as the Triumvirate. The Triumvirate became the protectors of the righteous in an attempt to restore humanity to the dismal land.

Time slowly passed human recollection. And what had been made good gradually turned bitter. The humans began to struggle against one another in order to fulfil their aspirations for knowledge and power. The Triumvirate wanted to provide guidance for the people. This was no easy task for the human?s wills had been broken and their faith had diminished. These humans knew that their ancestors could not escape the ecstasy of warfare under their Gods. If the Gods could not bring peace to the lands of the Northmen, how was a Triumvirate of Einharjar going to bestow peace upon the land. This was a fair question because these Einharjar had very little physical power compared to that of the Gods. However, there was one major difference between the Triumvirate and the Norse Gods: The Triumvirate was a council of loyal warriors who relied on one another on and off the battlefield. They were three entities with one concise conclusion. In contrast, the Gods meddled in human affairs, they were often divided which caused them to fight amongst themselves and would habitually spill over into the lands of Midgard, and their goal was to keep man subservient to the will of the Gods.

The Triumvirate took a different approach. They wanted to grant man absolute freedom in which humans would obtain knowledge for the continuation of the evolutionary process. With their progression would come peace to their lands. This was difficult for the people to grasp, possibly too idealistic for a world ruled by the rationale of humans. There was widespread anarchy for a time followed by a period of divisions and blind hatred between classes and races. The Triumvirate finally decided to assert their authority in an indirect way.

They thought that if they could trick all peoples of the hierarchy into working together for a common good that peace would win over greed and intolerance. They created Planeshift. All people were encouraged to participate in a journey throughout the lands of the world. These people, referred to as Sentinels, were to find ancient artifacts and information on the battle of the Ragnarok. They were to retell the story of the Ragnarok and come to a conclusion on why it happened and who was at fault. For their travels, they would receive immortality but not in life, through death. Their deeds will be remembered through a legendary story: The Saga of the Einharjar.

Hierarchy:

9. Triumvirate Member -This will consist of Valbrandr, Induane, and Hyrcanus. They will make all major decisions concerning the guild.

8. Einharjar ? This class is made up of trusted and very loyal members who serve as a council to the Triumvirate. Are not required to be as active in game but very active at our site and forum.

7. Retainer - These will be are best warriors. They will defend the integrity of the guild along with the Triumvirate with their lives. They should be the most active players and hopefully on each day if possible. They must also be some of the most active people in the forum as well.

6. Order Sovereign ? There will be four Orders: Warriors Order, Sages Order, Stealth Order, and our Trade and Industry Order:

Warriors Order: It will be lead by a Sovereign. This will be comprised of people who primarily fight in hand - to ? hand combat. They will fight in an honorable manner.

Sages Order: It will be lead by a Sovereign. This will be comprised of people who primarily use and follow one of the six ways. They will assist our Warriors in battle.

Stealth Order: It will be lead by a Sovereign. This will be comprised of the darker element in the SoR: Mainly Trackers, intelligence gatherers (AKA Spies), and possibly in the future Bounties, depending on how the game evolves. However if there becomes no evident need for Bounties in the future it may not materialize.

Trade and Industry Order: It will be lead by a Sovereign. This will be comprised of Merchants, Crafters, and resource gatherers: Miners, etc. They will run our shops in the future.

5. Berserker ? These will be our one ? on ? one combatants. They are required to be very active and power their characters. They will be our Duelers and represent us in competitions along with our Retainers.

4. Lord - As a Lord, this individual will have to choose a path to take. Following either an order or the promotion to Berserker and possibly later to Retainer. He/she must stay active and be very comfortable in the PS realm. Also must start bringing new ideas to our forum.

3. Knight - Seek and discover the mysteries of Planeshift. Fight for your promotion to Lord. Knights must be very active as well and be able to give assistance to Squires and Apprentices. They also must register at our site and forum.

Probationary Levels

2. Squire - Venture out and explore your surroundings. Gain experience on the battlefield. Be as active as possible for a promotion to Knight and tenure in the guild.

1. Apprentice - Get acquainted with more elite members of the group. Absorb knowledge and learn the basics: Mining, fighting, etc.

About Us

?Before we were watchers, we were listeners, we were only pulling strings on the Evil, guiding it away from itself. That time was of peace not war. But the shadows are gathering rapidly around Yliakum, probing the strength of the Good and we feel that the time for wait will be over soon and peace shall shatter into war.

We shall act, once more, as guardians, watching over the world and driving forces of evil to their knees! Yes, we know now, the time for wait IS over and time for action is drawing nigh, yes?we know and soon you will too.

No, no, don\'t take us wrong, we shall not ransack every village in search of evil, nor we shall hunt down every petty ill-doer there is. We leave that foolishness to our?brothers, who can not see beyond their own ambitions. Why try to cut a tail, when you can go straight for the heart. Indeed it is harder but of Chaotic Warriors fear not the challenge set by our Lord. And we shall find the root of the Evil and purge it into non-existence, sending all that shields it with it!

Ideology

From what is known of Chaotic Warriors, they can be called Chaotic Good, they are guided by their own moral compass, rather than sticking with some rules or regulations.

The primary goal of Chaotic Warriors in the world of Yliakum is to protect the world from evil. Their methods are somewhat unorthodox, they wait not for evil to strike but strike evil first, where possible. But they do not just attack any evil but the most mighty of it. And that is usually an organisation like the Chaotic Warriors, but one whose goals are to enslave the world and bring their twisted corruption into it.

Black Knight of Arath\'eron

They are the Strength of the Guild, coming in few numbers, wearing their black armour and wielding their dark swords, their faces are shielded by their shadowy helms but their stare is deadly, striking fear in the hearts of their enemy. They are the ones that proved themselves worthy on the battlefield. They have what it takes to fight Evil. Under the banners of Good, under banners of Chaos they smite evil with their power. They scour the world in search of it. There is no escape from them, only hard battle awaits those who oppose them.

Aranar Keisan

Battle Mage

They are the Arms of the Guild with their arcane powers surging through the Battle Mages before the battle as they grant powerful enchantments to their allies. They are bane and doom of many, purging the Evil with pure fires of Chaos, blessing their enemies with hails and storms, lighting and ice, magic and steel. They build, they destroy, they heal, they hurt, they bring life, and they take it away. Their wrath is ultimate punishment, for those who follow the Darkness shall burn the Flames of Chaos for eternity, until the last light shall be dimmed forever.

Shadow Dancer

They are the Eyes and Ears of the Guild, watching from the shadows, moving silently, hearing all and seeing everything. They drop from nowhere in battle, slitting the throats of the enemy, backstabbing the agents of the Darkness before they can even understand what is hitting them. There is no hiding place from the Shadow Dancers, they will always find what they need, and they will always do what they have to.

Knight Commander of Arath\'eron

They are the Will of the Guild, sitting in the Guild Hall the one that plans the movement of the armies of the Guild, standing on the battlefield, the one who directs the armies of the Guild, fighting furiously with them. The one fears no enemy, for Chaos is their strength, they fear not death, for their strength is eternal but the one knows compassion and forgiveness; knows life... and all life is precious in their eyes, and so the one shall never fight the unjust and unnecessary fights, but only those who threaten life shall know no mercy.

Kei\'elar

SpellFury (Arcane Master)

They are the Wisdom of the Guild, the supreme arcane master, the one who teaches, guides, helps ones that want to follow the ways of magic, the one who shall do so for all that wish and follow the ways of the Good. The Spellfury is the supreme ambassador of the Guild, who makes alliances, negotiates with the enemy, trying to turn them into right direction. Yet make no assumptions, the one is the supreme master of magic of the Guild, the one can break castles with one word, the one can heal armies with one word. Oppose the one, and you shall know the Spellfury of the Guild.

Shadow Master

They are the Mind of the Guild, the great master planner, always staying in the shadows the one is master of deceit and trickery, the one does so in the best interest of the Guild and the world. The Shadow Master is the influence of the minds and hearts of the enemy, the one who shall direct them from themselves; who shall make them destroy themselves, not with the sword but the word. The one who is known but whose Arms are hidden never really revealing themself to anyone, noone knows exactly what the one does, when or why, only the great Velt\'ara knows, only to them the one shall answer. Cross not the Shadow Master for even in the day light none shall see or hear them, and the one shall strike swiftly and one strike is always enough.

He is Power of Guild, the great Velta, the One that wields the powers of Chaos, he is the Arm of Strength ? commander of all armies of the Guild. He is John Thazer, Lord of Chaos, Bringer of Change.

He is Brain of the Guild, the great Velta, the one that that wields the powers of Guile, he the is Arm of Schemes ? director of all spies in the Guild. He is Ken Shinobi, Lord of Dice, Bringer of Luck.

How to Join Us?

Step 1 : Understanding

Greetings, fellow PlaneShifter. So you you would like to join the Chaotic Warriors? Well first of all you should read About Us section and the content in the Library.

Step 2 : Announcing

Once you have done that and you still want to join us then all you have to do is write a short description of your Character. Here\'s the layout you should use:

Name: Name of your Character (this should as your Forum name, if it is not then ask the Admin or Sub-admin to change your name)

Gender: Is your Character Male or Female?

Age: Age of your Character (if you do not want to reaveal it, write something like this Unknown, look in his/her late 30\'s)

Race: What race is your Character?

Field of Interest: This is basically what is the main field of interest of your Character, is it Combat or Magic, or being really sneaky? (This is something like Class of your Character but please do not write something like, Mage or Fighter, but write a little sentence, \"SinceI was a girl I was really fascinated by the works of my uncle, he spent days in his tower conducting his magical experiments.\" Just not one word answer.

Biography: Basically tell us about your Character, nothing much is required a small paragraph will do, mention things that would describe your character\'s life experiences, and past guilds if any.

Example:

- Name: Jimbob \"Cut-throat\" Jones
- Race: Appears to be Human
- Sex: Male
- Age: 32

If you have a portrait of your Character, please post it as well or if you want, select it as your forum avatar. If you would like one made for you contact KenShinobi on the forums ^^ Remeber this information will go into the Members page of the Guild site.

Step 3 : Waiting

Wait for a response from Ken Shinobi or John Thazer on the forums, and if you are accepted you will be added to the guild as an \"Initiate of Chaos \". From here you should try to be active in the community and get to grips with the Planeshift game as a Chaotic Warrior.

Once you have made a significant contribution to the community, or have gained sufficient experience in the game, we will increase your rank according to your choosing of \"Black Knight\" (combat specialist), \"Battle Mage\" (magic specialist) or \"Shadow Dancer\" (dark arts and stealth specialst).

Step 4 : Advancing

When you have shown that you are of great skill and have made a positive contribution to the community for a good period of time, as well as having good experience of the Planeshift game, then the leaders of the clan will discuss your advancement to one of three positions, of which there are only one person.

-Knight Commander of Arath\'eron: Leader of the Black Knights, strategist and fierce warrior who has much greater skills than the average Black Knight. It will be expected of you to be an active regular member, since this post holds large responsibility.

-Spellfury: Teacher of the arcane arts to the Battle Mages, the Spellfury should also be present in the community, although activity is not as much required as with the Knight Commander, since the Battle Mages can only train themselves without aid. However, a greater level of skill is required before anyone advances to this level.

-Shadow Master: The eyes and ears of the guild, the shadow master is the one who directs the movements of the shadow dancers in the attempt to confuse and annihilate evil players, and evil guilds. A lot of skill and community activity is required since reports must be delivered on the tasks that the \"shadows\" have been carrying out in game.
