Favorite Manga

Since we have an anime thread, I feel its only necessary for a manga thread to be made :D
So list your favorite manga here!

My favorites-
Priest- An awesome manga about an ex priest who sells his soul to a demon to stop a worser demon and to get revenge.
Naruto- Cool ninja manga about a young boy who dreams of becoming the Hokage (village leader)
Hunter x Hunter- A manga about a young boy named Gon who wants to become a hunter and find his father who left him at a young age.
Hajime No Ippo- A great manga about a highschool boy who discovers boxing and puts everything he has into becoming the best.
Bleach- A highschool boy with the ability to see dead evil spirits (hollows) meets a shinigami (angel of death) and recieves her powers and must hunt hollows to protect his loved ones.
Full Metal Alchemist- A story about two young boys who are abonded by their father and left alone by the death of their mother. In an attempt to revive their mother using alchemy, the younger brother loses his body and the older brother loses an arm and a leg.

I\'m not a fan of the EVA manga... I like it because well, it\'s Evangelion, but the anime is much better IMO (I\'d like to see how it will end too, might be fun to see how sadamoto\'s vision of the ending)

Anyway, my favorites would be
-Gunnm (Yukito Kishiro), that rollerball thing is just so cool :-) and it\'s a rather short manga with lots of things happening. I\'ve only read the first \"Last Order\" but it doesn\'t look as good as the first ones  :-/

-Akira (Katsuhiro Otomo), no need to comment on this one I think. Just be sure to get the B&W version (don\'t know in other countries but in france there is a crappy colorised edition... bah !).

-City Hunter (Tsukasa Hojo), I have read them dozens of times, but it still makes me laugh :D  Angel Heart looks good too.

Manga are read right to left instead of the normal left to right and are generally longer than a comic book. They are also paperback so they resemble a book in a way.

ohw yeah naruto both the manga and the anime :D
samurai X, dragonfall ( dragonball parody, masterly done ), some sort of bondage faries although you have seen those in 1 manga.
and some others i did read and i thought where pretty good but i forgot the names i\'ll come back to that.

i forgot mobile suit rocks also...

anime is the toon mangaa is the book
so manga is paper anime is dvd or vhc

Yea anime is animated as its name would suggest :rolleyes: :P

Manga usually comes before an animated series and usually is more in-depth. So if an anime didnt satisfy you, chances are the manga would clarify a few things.
