Could be that there\'s a problem with your harddrive or your memory is going \'bad\'. These things happen when the components start getting towards the end of their lifespan.

Of course these are the worst case scenarios, but it\'s all I know on the subject. Sorry I couldn\'t offer any constructive help. :(

You will most likely need to install the latest Service Pack for W2k.

Check this:

Uhm, the Microsoft page is when u logon on a Win2000...I guess, I didn\'t have to restart the computer when I got the msg from Planeshift.

I think is some crash from the client, because it occurs also when I am playing using WinXp.

I think, at least :D (from my sssmmmmaaallll experience!)

And the pc is almost new... so it would be strange that this happen just (rarely) with Planeshift :-)

Btw, Thank u!

Winxp too eh? Could be your ram then. Or PlaneShift, whatever.

Allright, how about this:

Try adjusting your ram timings in the bios to either lower then the default, or returning them to normal (if you adjusted it to a higher value, but you probably didn\'t).
If you haven\'t adjusted your timing you might want to consider retarding your ram timing to make it more fail-safe.

edit: allthough it\'s always good to have the latest service pack installed ;)

Latest SP installed :D
It happens sometimes also with XP but on a different computer and I can remember exactly which one was the error with XP... I didn\'t care :P

I will evaluate the ram timing as soon as I go back to the Win 2000 tomorrow!

Thank u btw!

It happens  only when I try to enter PlaneShift with opengl-client, than in safe (slow) mode the problem was solved.
But in this mode the graphics are very slow.....

It\'s seems to be danger use opengl-client from 22.00 to 0.00 (Italian time). :(
Today I use it with no problem for about 2 hours.

My system: W2k-SP4, 512Mb ram, Athlon Xp 1400, Ati Radeon9000, SB Audigy, 56k analog modem.

At 22.58 when i going out of temple, a memory error was reported.

Hi,

I\'m new to this game. I\'m having similar problem. Now I\'m stuck in temple, not able to come out. Each time I try I get this damned error.

This Apps error generated by psclient.exe is certainly a bug in the SW, not an OS problem. Did anyone inform the developers?
