Hmmm, I\'m torn on this one - damn, never was any good at making a decision ;)

On the one hand I would love to have an avatar, but on the other hand I do like the fact that a developer is instantly distinguishable by it, almost having the highest accolade.

If it was to be available to fans it should be earned and not just be a spam token.

I may regret this but I\'m gonna vote for developers only but maybe have it as a reward to fans who have truely earned it.

i picked other because i think that it should be EARNED and then other people could use them, if you picked tripel-as then its even more of a reason for CERTAIN people to spam.......i think i just said the same thing kada did......hmmm

i think fans should defentily have avatars, in case they are no bigger than 80X80..
i mean... why not?

if u will say \"only people over bla bla posts can have avats\", then every1 will start spamming.
if u say \"only people who deserve it\" then it would cause an un-ending circle of begging for avatar prize.. which could be more annoying than anything..

I think every1 would have an avatar!! no spamming and no begging and evry1 is happy. and the mods are distuinguished by the bleu stars. and is there a downside to it. I mean it only has advantages no disadvantages!

My thoughts are people who earn respect on here, not some(excuse the language, but its neccessary) ass hole who just came here to spam.  I know I can sometimes be and idiot or a jerk, but seriously some people would just spam to get to triple as.

i agree with meket, Dev members are already seperated.. they avatars is like a prize to the players..

Wolf - thats exactly the point =)
until there is no actual game, there should be as many features to keep the players interasted... imagine how loyal to the game we will be, if we sit around 24/7 in these forums ... =/  

it doesnt hurt anybody, would make some posters happy, so give it to us... i mean... why not?

2. avatars are just \'something\' to do. if people start getting into it, they will devide more of their day\'s schedule for this forum, passing time..
more posts of \"what do u think of my avatar\" will pop up, making people feel more apart of this forum, and this just might keep them, without their knowledge, in here. this is MY OPINION.
my MAIN ARGUMENT was that avatars cant hurt, they can only make this place alittle more colorful and interasting..

Why cant you just be happy with the avatars you can use in Kada-El\'s.
I for one dont think the stars are enough. Also there is noway a picture is gonna make any difference with players.There are already signatures plenty to play with there.
Nu Sham says above that more posts popping up with -What do you think of my avatar will show up...great just we need more spam.
My argument is this the new people coming here are not going to know what the little blue stars are for while a few others will.It will be much easier for them to notice that some people have avatars while others dont when asking questions.

i didnt exactly get your arguement (about new commers wont understand what the little stars mean),
but i think the whole avatar subject would be pretty interasting subject, and wont be declared as \"Spam\" , if and when there is an off - subject forum .
even now, you can see plenty of threads regarding signatures or stuff like that..
you can call it spam, or it might just be that this subject interasts some people..

in any case, this is a not-really-important subject, like the black line above the sig, and even though i would like to see avatars included, i think that right now the ops have more important things to take care of =)
