Lyric: \"But if you\'ve lost your faith in love and music the end wont be long\"

I think that The Libertines are the greatest British rock band of my lifetime (1988 - now) maybe even more. I\'m too young for Oasis and whoever else.

Pete Doherty is a legend and icon. Anyone who has ever spoke to me about music may have some idea about how much I go on about him. Carl Barat is great too, though I dislike him a little for breaking up The Libertines.

It saddens me to think that Pete messed up how he did and that there will never be another band who will equal them for me. For me part of what made their music so good was the love they had for each other (not like that... just how they each thought the other was great and so on.)

They are the best lyrically and musically.

Now... most of you Americans, Canadians, Europeans, others will have no clue who I am on about... Neither will half the other English people here.

Thrice is pretty good to listen to, I think they\'re a lot better live.  I saw them at the warped tour this past summer and a couple of summers before that.  Never really liked them much till I saw their set.  Lots of energy in the vocals...very genuine sounding.

Avenged Sevenfold on the other hand.....oh man, what a disappointment.  I\'m still listening to their older releases (which I love) to try to forget about the agony of seeing them live.

It\'s amazing how we can do things simultaneously, like talking and not listening.

Those are some of my favorite C&W artists.  Bosephus tops em all though for me.

Bono is a good human being.  Does lots of good positive things for society.  Those other two, meh, whatever, they suck.

Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

There\'s only two styles of music one should dedicate its life to: Trance and Progressive Rock. xD

Trance is a great electronic fusion of movement and music... almost as happy or agressive as life itself! _If_ you\'re listening to it the right way: with your ears and body language!
    Here are some artists I recommend all of you:
  • Void;
  • Killer Buds;
  • Infected Mushroom;
  • GMS.
Progressive Rock is the greatest thing music has stumbled into since Classic Music! The way music is composed, the instruments involved, the innovation and improvement it brought to all rock (and all styles that later spawned from it).
Its not just pure genious, its a grandious form of music.
    Here are my favorite:
  • The Beatles;
  • Genesis;
  • Jethro Tull.
