Well well...  I think those bands totally blow.  Sorry they are an example of bad sound as I have heard several live and they totally suck - obvious studio bands except perhaps the strokes I havn\'t seen them live.  Seriously they put on bad performances and they completely sounded bad.  Not like I didn\'t like the band style - they just sounded like a crappy garage band.

Hmmm
Greenday - Excelleny lyrical style - not a big punk sound fan myself but can roll with them.
I like bands like System of a Down, Metallica, Drowning Pool, Tool and A Perfect Circle.

Also bands that really stink - switchfoot - another bad expirence with them live - seriously my grandmother could probabily sound better.  Silvertide - totally stink!

Seriously whats with these modest mouse like bands trying to reproduce sounds from the eightys (self procliamed).

This is a thread about posting your favorite music.  It is not a discussion thread, nor is it a post how much you don\'t like some band someone else posted thread.  Quit spamming.

Ok now I have to comment, because I heart Thursday.  A lot.  In adition, AFI, NIN, Social D, Pink Floyd, Finch, From Autumn To Ashes, Jimmy Eat World, Deftones, Radiohead,  Gin Blossoms, Blink-182,  Rage Against the Machine, Tool,  and a lot of local bands that probably no ones heard of, notably this one called toNavigate.
Yliakum, a really big crystal. These are the voyages of the Explorers Guild.  Its ongoing mission: to explore strange new maps, to seek out new life and new NPCs.  To boldly glitch where no one has glitched before.

Favorite Bands:

Band - Shinedown - Album - Leave a Whisper

This is a relatively new band which I have had the pleasure to see live.  Their performance is a highly energetic, but heavy rock feel, with interesting commentary between songs which leave the audience feeling each song was written for them personally.  The whole show is amost emotional as the singer is so intense you just get the feeling like this is what he was meant to do.  The entire album is excellent - the first album in a long time that I found to be good cover to cover - only one other in recent history, and I\'ll mention them down the list.

Band - Velvet Revolver - This band is a wonderful combination of the good parts of Guns\' n Roses with the awsome vocals of the former Stone Temple Piolets singer Scott Weiland.  They produce songs raning from a fairly hard rock song to the freeflowing power ballods of the eighties.  Awsome band.

Band - Audioslave - Another \"super band\" like audioslave.  This one is Chris Cornell from Soundgarden paired with members of Rage Against the Machine.  They have 2 albums now and the second one may be even better than the chart topping first album.  Quite an accomplisment, considering some bands who are considered successful are lucky to have 3 major hits, let alone 6 from the same album and a quality followup.

Band - System of a Down - this band combines odd vocal styles with political based lyrics, and interesting imagery.  Genius is obviously present in this band who makes extremely strange music that somehow manages to captivate me anyways.

Other awsome bands/artists:

Metallica - Duh
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Steve Miller Band
Tool
J Guiles Band - Oh yea! Go Centerfold
Pink Floyd
Semisonic
Everclear
Eminem
Garth Brooks
Gin Blossoms
Wallflowers
3rd Eye Blind
Barenaked Ladies
Marcy Playground
Dunkan Sheik
Tal Bachman - She\'s soooo hiiigh!
Blink 182
A Perfect Circle
Radiohead
Jewel
Synesetic
Led Zepplin
Johnny Cash
Nine Inch Nails
Maralyn Manson
Seether
Evanescense
Story of the Year

and many more... I have some broad tastes as well
