Come on guys is it too hard to put some meaningful text in your links? Bracket url=link close bracket meaningful text bracket slash url close bracket. Why would anyone bother clicking anonymous links?

Thank you for that, Zanzibar, I was kind of directing my comment at the youtubers with the anonymous urls. Seeing the url as the link kind of defeats the purpose of the tag as if you just dump it in raw it gets linkified, at least in Firefox. Mouseover of yours at least showed it was a specific search term. A little setup does wonders though.

Did you like the Roy Buchanan? That guy could wax his axe, so to speak.

I have recently began listening to Juno Reactor again. I forgot how much I liked them.
Juno Reactor in concert or a bunch of others here.

That concert clip was kind of amateurish, couldn't watch it all. It probably was made by a fan. I did watch one of the others, God is God. It sort of put me in mind of Love and Rockets from the 80's, So Alive to be specific but you might wonder how. Certainly not thematically.

It is a little quiet tonight, I guess people are out getting Blotto  <,<  so here is a song from them, Metal Head . I couldn't for the life of me remember who this was by, so I am glad I found it even though it is a little lacking in quality.

I'd say that's why he put "Rock". None of the stuff in that list really qualifies as traditional 'rock', except maybe Zeppelin and Floyd :P

Jees how things have changed. Seems to me Led Zeppelin (whole Lotta Love) is one of the original metal bands along with Deep Purple (Highway Star), Black Sabbath (Iron Man heheh check out Ozzy head-bangin') and etc.

Life-noobs indeed :D

Hey Grampa, don't tell me about the olden days they're history :(

I always thought of Bach and the like being the originators of metal/rock but that's just me.

Not really... because Rock and Metal came out of the blues, and the blues exists because of African music crossing with British marches.  Besides, before Bach there was Vivaldi, before Vivaldi there was Monteverdi.

I remember from history class, the chapter about the 'becoming one' of Italie that there was a violin player, very (really extreme very) good at it.
But he made mostly dark macabre pieces with his talent, only a select group liked it, most people disgusted it... and he almost always wore Black!
;D I remembered it because it sounded so Familiar ;) [I'll see if he's in my history book (which is at school :P ) if he's in there else my teacher (for who has left) has told me and we may never know his name again (from the violin player) :( ]

I was more or less speaking figuratively. As someone once told me, "You know, jazz is like classical music on mescaline".
