uum, that video wasn't Serj.  System of a Down did not split up, they went on hiatus and Serj took that opportunity to go solo.

You already should have known that! the official statement was "hiatus" :P
Now, your video shows some weird song, NOT Serj Tankian :P
Also, Serj himself is touring with his first solo album (going to pinkpop also  \\o//, cause i have tickets :P) , is making video for all his songs on the album and is going to make another solo album (more classical one). Also Daron is busy with another band "Scars on Broadway" and is also gonna release an album soon(tm) and probably touring with the album.
SO DON'T GET US EXCITED OVER A PIECE OF DRIED BREAD! It's like saying "Planeshift is going to be alpha!"..
Good but old news: RATM is back together ^^ and coming to Pinkpop :sorcerer:
  :flowers:

Anyone who's looking for something "different" I suggest listen to Battles,  they really are something else.  And plus they're very skilled with their insturments.

Battles - Mirrored
Bomb the Music Industry! - Get Warmer
Blacklisted - Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God
Ruiner - Prepare to Be Let Down
The Gaslight Anthem - Senor and the Queen
Polar Bear Club - Sometimes Things Just Disappear

I can't believe this thread has lasted 5 years.  I was totally an active community member back then, believe it or not.
