Campers Exclusive: Realize Your Camping Dreams!
« on: November 23, 2003, 12:15:54 am »
This is the first edition of Campers Exclusive. In this magazine, you\'ll be able to read about anything that a camper can dream about. First edition includes all the basic, and some luxury items that campers should get their hands on (and which we hope will be implemented in PS). :)

Name - Transportable Chair.
Weight - Very-Light, 2 pounds max.
Cost - Depends on the material.
Size - Usually depends on the cost. :)

Name - Auto-Unpacking Tent.
Weight - Light, 6-10 pounds.
Cost - Depends on the material, but they\'re quite expensive.
Size - Big. We need space for the whole guild. :D

Name - Portable Fireplace + Fireplace Kit.
Weight - Heavy (stones usually are), 30-40 pounds.
Cost - Stones are free, and the kit doesn\'t cost too much.
Size - Just as big as you want it. :)

Name - Auto-Marshmellows-On-Sticks.
Weight - None.
Cost - Marshmellows are cheap, sticks are free.
Size - Just as long as you want it. :)

Name - Crappy Joke Book, Vol. 1 - 5.
Weight - Light, 2 pounds each.
Cost - ~10 Trias each.
Size - Standard book size.

Name - Scary Bedtime Stories, Vol. 1 - 6.
Weight - Light, 2 pounds each.
Cost - ~5 Trias each.
Size - Standard book size.

Name - Solar Powered Bacon Stretchers.
Weight - Semi-Heavy. About 10 pounds.
Cost - Very expensive. :)
Size - Small, but with huge solar panels.
(Thanks to Vengeance for this idea)

Name - Left-Handed Smoke Direction Shifter.
Weight - Light, 2-3 pounds. Depends on material.
Cost - Depends on quality.
Size - Ranges from Small to Very Large.
(Thanks to Vengeance for this idea)

Name - Minibar/Soda-Freezer.
Weight - Heavy, 100 pounds. This thing needs a wagon, and lots of ice.
Cost - Extremely expensive. Guild leaders Only!
Size - Huge!

Name - Solar Powered Flashlight. (Duh)
Weight - 5 pounds. Solar panels are heavy, you know. :)
Cost - Quite expensive, ~200 Trias.
Size - Unhandy...
(Again, thanks to Vengeance for this idea)

Name - Loot-Thief 2000.
Weight - 50 pounds, but moves around by itself.
Cost - Really expensive, only available on the campers black market.
Size - Very small, but with unnaturally big containers.

Name - Luxury Deluxe Sleeping Bag.
Weight - None.
Cost - Depends on the material. Ranges from 10 Trias to 5000 Trias. *
Size - Just as long as you want it.

*Just because it\'s expensive, doesn\'t mean it gives you buffs, makes you sleep better, or keep unwanted monsters away from you.

That\'s about it for now, folks. Come back later for the next edition of Campers Exclusive. :D

That\'s neat, though somehow I miss the point of a solar powered flashlight... :D

The point is that it\'s a typical camper item. It never works when you have to use it. Of course, it worked fine at daytime, when you tested the equipment before leaving. :D

Just a question: will we be forced to sleep? because all this nice stuff looks pretty useless to me :P

Just because you don\'t have to sleep, doesn\'t mean you can\'t bring along these items. :D Besides, the more stuff you have, the bigger your chances are of bragging about them to someone. :)

If you are going to be a \"real\" camper, you need a sniper rifle, or a railgun :P
