Everything works fine up to the instalation and when it completes it cant be found on my comp and i cant play it so wahts the prob here?

It would help if you would be a bit more specific.

Here is the normal procedure:
1. Download all the 5 parts and the reassembler.
2. Make sure they are all in the same dir.
3. Run the run_me_first.bat file
4. Execute the newly created executable
5. Follow the instructions and Install PlaneShift
6. Go to the program folder where it installed and run PlaneShift

i did every thing you said but it still didnt work


it says complete when it is done and all i can hit is the cancel button

I\'m not sure about this, but have you checked if another window was hidden in the background ? This happens quite often with those installation programs. Try to minimize all your windows (keys Win-D) and click on the tab of the installer on the taskbar, to be sure.

I\'m having the same problem as Rocker4life and I don\'t find any hidden windows when i do the win-D thing...

Have you tried to click on the \"Show details\" button, in the installer window, to see if anything went wrong ?

The PlaneShiftV0.2.010.exe file should be 90.028.941 byte long. Its MD5 hash value should be : 26F08E7A5734AC1C7AA784B7E3425DFA (use this tool to compute the value).

If the installation program says it is complete, there\'s a chance the program is installed correctly. Look at the properties of your Planeshift directory, it should take approximatively 100 MB.

Normally, you should have shortcuts to the executables in your Windows start menu. If it\'s not the case, check your Planeshift directory :
- run updater.exe  to update the game
- run pssetup.exe  to choose the graphics options
- run psclient.exe  to run the game.
