Cabal and Spamming - What do I think? I have finally descended to the level of the people on these boards, and I\'ve posted my very own Cabal thread (hey, start your own collection before they get untrendy again).

How do I start a thread about the most disliked topic in the forum, yet still the most discussed topic in the entire community?
The first three words that came to my mind, when asking myself that question: \"I don\'t know.\" And why should I? People hate them, but they can\'t leave them alone. It\'s Cabal this, Cabal that. Cabal suxx0rs, Cabal be ban. Cabal whine, Cabal stupid. Cabal evil, Cabal jerks... Cabal, Cabal and Cabal. And to tell you all the truth, I don\'t blame them for pissing you off really bad. When people whine about me, the best thing I know is to just keep bugging them until I get booted myself. It\'s fun.
Now, I don\'t regularly visit the Guild Forum, where all the action seems to take place, yet I\'ve seen posts here and there by Auranny and few others, and I don\'t really see anything wrong with what they write. Yes, they can critizise people from time to time, but so what? Why start spamming utterly useless posts about some bum who, in your head, appears to be a 00b3r d00d n00b flamer, instead of just ignoring him and move along? I remember only once telling Auranny he was a prick, but of no use. The whole thread was deleted later the same day. Maybe that\'s also why \"The Evul Cabali PeopleZz\" keep out of my posts. Again, I don\'t know, and I don\'t care.
Something I\'ve heard a lot of talk about these later days is this: \"We must now get Cabal banned for spamming Cabal-spam. We can\'t have them spamming no more, because they\'re spamming our already full-of-spam spam-forums.\" ... Suggesting this is
U-s-e-l-e-s-s! Stop wasting your time, when you\'re making it sound like you love it so much! The people who actually are spamming, are the people who have comments for everything. In this example, I\'ll use Seperotty because I know he can understand that I just use him for fun: Auranny says: \"Cabali Post nr. 19 - We have X new members yaddaih yaddaoh, and etc. etc.\" Now, this isn\'t spam. He\'s using the guild forums to announce guild informations - I repeat - NOT SPAM.
Please understand.
Then our doggy-friend Seperotty thinks it\'s spam, because he just saw a previous Cabal thread in the top of the forum (that was pumped full of useless spam about the pre-previous threads, and which was therefor bumped up to the top) and he says: \"Why u not post spam in other spam thread n00b Cabal!\"... Wrong. First of all, making a new thread to put some new content in it, isn\'t wrong (and he probably does it because the other ones - as Seperotty said - were full of spam). Imagine someone sending a letter to a magazine saying something like: \"Stop releasing any more magazine n00bs! Go spam in the magazines you\'ve already made!\" - That would be wrong as well.
Well then, how do we solve this whole thing? We have several solutions. 1) Ban everyone posting anything that contains the word Cabal in it - No matter if you\'re Member of the guild, or Non-Member. Or 2) Everyone that\'s Non-Member of The Cabal leave the people who are Members of The Cabal alone, and vise versa, unless it\'s a creative and positive comment you\'re posting. Having a post that\'s like: \"Hi I\'m new I live just around the corner.\" - \"Hey ho, you\'re noob so I\'ll kill you [Insert Cabal Signature Here]\" - \"OMG U SOXX0RZ CABAL N00B [Insert Oldbie Signature Here]\" - Delete - Delete - \"Welcome to PlaneShift
\" .. is wrong. The comments aren\'t nice, they\'re not on topic, and Mogurry has to waste her time deleting two useless posts.

Exclusive - My guide on ignoring Cabal! I stated in the previous section that I don\'t know much about The Cabal, because I\'ve chosen to simply ignore that they exist. I\'m doing fine, and they seem to be doing fine as well. None of use really need eachothers attention, as it would be useless for Cabali members to tell me I suxx0rs because I simply ignore it. How? Read on! How to ignore The Cabal - Step 1: Whenever you see the world \"Cabal\", whether it is on a picture, on these forums or when you\'re chatting on MSN/AIM etc. ignore it. Simply force your mind into pretending that you never recieved that bit of information, and quickly switch over to something else, like a popup, etc. *Note: Flashing popups are really nice, as they\'re very annoying and you easily forget things when you\'re annoyed.
Please master this step fully, before reading Step 2.

I would like to state that I\'m getting sick of any Cabal discussion so give it up people, and that\'s an order! Leave them alone, and they\'ll leave you alone, and for gods sake,
stop replying if you think they\'re spamming! And please note that I have nothing against The Cabal in any way, as long as they don\'t attract unwanted attention against me in person, or any of my posts (which they haven\'t yet, so keep up the good work).
