Author Topic: Can't seem to get the game started (Read 599 times)

I\'ve gone through the step by step directions, downloaded all 5 zip\'s and the reassembler
used the reassembler
installed the game
ran the update
ran the setup
but can\'t find the .exe file to start the game. Tried the psclient, but that just locks up my computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

What exactly happens when you run psclient? Does it give an error or display some screen?

Also, are you trying to run in OpenGL or in Software mode?

it brings up a dos mode screen, runs a couple quick things the goes to a black screen. The mouse switches to an hour glass and thats when the computer locks up.

im on openGL, havent tried the other.

Please post your system specs. You can get them for windows at Start--->>>Run--->>>dxdiag

Useful info would be:
Motherboard
VideoCard
Ram
For example...
AMD Athlon 2000, 1.7ghz
GeForce 2 64mb SDR
256mb DDR

AMD Athlon , 901 Mhz
radeon 7000/radeon ve video card
384 ram

Im assuming its my video card, I\'ve had problems w/ it before. If I use \"Software\" in setup I can get the game started, just really choppy and have troubles seeing anything.

I GET PAST CREATING MY CHARACTER,
AND WEN I CONECT,
IT SAYS

INITIALIZING TEXTURE
AND IT GETS AS FAR AS

INITIALIZING WORLD
THEN FREEZES AND DOESNT LOAD ANY MORE
HOW DO I GET IT TO LOAD?

the game doesnt load
