Tyriel cool off, this is the hydlaa plaza, we can talk about anything we want here.
He\'s an author of fantasy books AFAIK, but I haven\'t read any, so I can\'t give you my opinion.

I\'ve read most of his works in the Forgotten Realms vein.  Just finished The Thousand Orcs, and looking forward to reading The Lone Drow.  Not many people talk about his series The Cleric Quintet, as most focus on his Drow stories with Drizzt (very famous, very popular among D&D fantasy readers).  My favorite characters from TCQ series would have to be the Bouldershoulder brothers - Ivan and Pikel.  The antics of those two usually get me laughing out loud.  :)

very good fantasy author... Even though I prefer Elaine Cunningham, he has made some of the best stories of the forgotten realms..

I\'ve read Dissention (I think that\'s the name of it....the first on the Spider Queen series)  good book.  That\'s Salvatore I think...

I\'ve read a couple of Salvatore books, and they were pretty good, but i tend to prefer Piers Anthony and Anne Mcaffrey n\'stuff

I\'ve read some, and I will say this, they are probably the better regular fantasy books.

But also, they are exactly what I don\'t like about fantasy books (which is also what most people like).

I need more common interests....

Everyone, Jeff Grubb is the best game novel author ever, and you all know that. He also writes some of the D&D rulebooks, which, therefore, are really cool.
The only Forgotten Realms novels I\'ve read are by Ed Greenwood (and he seems like a perv) but a trip I will soon be making to Barne\'s and Noble\'s will be fixing that.

I have read some of the books but I wasn\'t able to get into them as much as other Fantasy Books I have read. Some of my favorites have been The Shanara books by Terry Brooks or the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind.

Yeah, Brooks is one of the few (and the best of them) authors of fantasy books I actually read and enjoyed, I always finish books, even terrible ones...it\'s annoying :P
