Suggestion!

I think on login you should have a main user logon where you can have multiple characters. saves from the problem of people forgetting character names and stuff.

I know multiple characters per account will be possible but i think its an over all bad idea... why would u need multiple characters unless your going to transfer things from one character to another? i think having more than one character under one account is a bad idea. Also remembering a character name was never a big deal, you shouldnt forget a username its pretty easy to remember and your character last logged in stays in the boxes anyways. Though next update im more than sure that will change... But it doesnt matter, remembering a user name is not hard so having multiple characters under one account is a bad idea...

As its a free game whats the problem? you can just have more than one account.

Please lets not all start to rave how this is going to effect Guilds!!! or rather start warring over how bad this will be for guilds!
My in game character\'s are Wolfshade and Kayto! no they wont try to join two different Guilds  !!!!

i think multiple characters in one account is bad for one reason. there is a little skill called rich and really rich that gives you 100 and 300 tria to start with. if someone makes multiple characters all he has to do is make a new one with rich and richer and he gets 400 tria each time with no work involved. i think that the devs should actually discourage multiple accounts..

but they can\'t make people stop making multiple accounts...
It would be easier to just drop this \'rich\'/\'very rich\' idea...

Mules (Characters made to store items) are just the territory that you run when you allow people to make multiple characters.  I\'m annoyed at games like SWG that only allow 1 character per server, or FFXI that charge extra for each character; sure, it does help the economy when there are no mules, but it also hurts the people who want to have alternate characters.  Now, both of these games I mentioned are skill-based (like this one), and have systems that allow you to easily change and adapt your character, so the problem is almost non-existant.  Before skill-based systems grew in popularity, I was rather adverse to the concept of single character servers; but I think it makes sense, now that I\'ve had some experience with skill-based, though, I think it works out pretty good.

Anyway, they could restrict your access quite easily, though a variety of means.  Correct me if I\'m wrong, but didn\'t the devs say something about only one account per server per user?  I\'m not sure if they were just recommending this, or it was something they were going to try and enforce, though...

What u guys have to remember is..... That 400 tria is gonna be like loose change once u\'ve been playing a month or so. yes it\'s great to start with, but hardly significant in the long run. So unless u\'r gonna make 100 accounts and do massive transfers then u\'r not gonna gain.... (btw, imaging spending the hours doing that... quite sad ain\'t it....:D)

Ummm... you\'re going to be limited to one account, with multiple characters in it.  I imagine you\'ll have to do quite a bit of fabrication to get more than one account.  So, I don\'t see how this will be that big a deal.

I did\'nt know that you would be limited to just one account.

The problem here is if there is more than one person in the same house using the same pc. They might not want to share the same account!
 ?(

Will one account be ok for a home with a few players that share the same hardware?? ?(

I\'m not been greedy here. This is a free game so I will be happy just to be able to play and we will make do with whatever the devs go with.
But I would hate to make do if there is no need to!

People will try to get the upper hand with cheating the game, let them think they are oh so cleaver. Just don\'t let them mess up the game on every one else.
Lets not fence our selves in! :O

If I\'m not wrong, you\'ll be able to make new account just by giving different email address.
Then again it isn\'t hard to get yourself new email, new account and give yourself stuff from other chars.

Just wondering...
If some one has two characters, how do they give each other items?
I mean you can\'t run two copies of the client on the one pc at the same time. So you can only log one character in at a time!
So how does someone with multible characters pass on his goods? ?(
