You do NOT need to have the port open to incoming connections. I know this for a fact because it isn\'t with my setup and I can still play. Outgoing connections can receive data.

*gasp* I have an icon called \"kein Icon\" to select now!

I have only port 13331 open for my server which is another comp than the one I am playing on. So it isn\'t an incoming issue for me. But maybe your router needs that. My Dlink DI-604 runs fine without port forwarding to the client.

Back to Planeshift again \\o/

When I run the game I only have one server in the list (Fragnetics).

How can I change the server to connect on the other IP adress??? Where I have to do this?

thx

Asuming that you are talking about CB, the server list is in data/servers.xml.

Hi

I had to alter the server list to

192.168.x.x  is the ipadress of the firewall on my network.

Also open port 13331 and it worked fine.

Eh? That\'s just plain stupid

The localhost server is used by the developers to loopback the connections to the local server we use for debugging and testing localy. It\'s a misstake that it even exists there.
Setting this would, can and will NOT solve any connection problem to Fragnetics.

EDIT: If you don\'t specificly forward port 13331 to 7234 on laanx.fragnetics.com or something wierdoly, but i see no reason doing that

This is not the correct place to be asking such questions.

Psker, it is in the data/servers.xml file. If you are Windows it is probably in C:\\Program Files\\Planeshift Crystal Blue\\data\\servers.xml. If you are on a Mac then it is probably in /Applications/Planeshift 3D/data/servers.xml. If you are on Linux, then you should know where your PS dir is and this is in there.
