cant exit

hi
  when i click on the big X to exit, and click yes, the programme just hangs. i haf to ctrl-alt-del to end task it then return to desktop. how!

For me it works, but it takes some time. Wait until the disk falls silent(or the LED goes dark).

Or you can exit by typing /quit into the \"console\".

how to open the console? the ~ button? i tried but cant. how?

he means the chat window, type /quit there to exit the game.

hey yandao - good to see another singaporean around :) What you have sounds like a weird problem. How long did you wait before deciding it hanged?

Hi Yandaoben,

Can you give us the specifications of your system ? (physical memory, operating system, directx version, graphics card, driver version, ...) Good question from Chrischoo, too. Sometimes the desktop takes time to wake up  ;)

A first very wild guess would be the drivers of the graphics card, I had the same symptoms with a few cards in the past because of that. Are they recent, and do they support OpenGL correctly ?
