The arrows fine most medieval bows had the rest on the same side of the bow as the hand drawing and indian bows did this as well. It promotes rapid fire and contrary to popular belife does not harm accuracy. As a matter of fact though my current bow (a compound and nessasary) has an opposit rest I prefer a same rest so that I don\'t have to reposition my bow every time I nock an arrow.

When I use a bow I prefer to have it the may Moogie drew it and have the bow on a 45 degree angle and I usually use my thumb as a rest. You can pretty much fire a bow anyway you want except horizontal can be awkward unless your firing down.

How\'s this? I\'ve added shading to the hand and face, and generally all over. I want to keep the image looking quite soft and sketchy, rather than try and overblow it with realism- not really my style. :) But I do hope the details are looking a bit better now.

Maybe a bit more green tint behind the veils and thin whisps of garment near the waist. Kind of just looks like lines atm instead of thin clear mesh.

15-minute sketch. No critisisms on this please... I know it has alot wrong with it and I don\'t plan on doing anything about it. :)

With Karyuu\'s permission, and at kixie\'s request, I coloured this sketch. I did not do the lineart. *points at the talented kittie Kary*

The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

Since this is Moogura\'s art thread, I\'ll put it in mine.

I did a little 5-minute picture as a present to Seppie just now, since I\'m feeling peculiarly lovey today. :) *hugs Sep*

Well the end result is impressive, of two artists. I was just about to ask Kixie it artist blood ran through the veins once I saw the new signature image for Kixie. This surely explains who was responsible for the nice looking signature image.

Let me guess you love cats and probably own a few cats. Anyway the drawing is good for your 2nd attempt using a tablet. People I know give praise to their tablets all the time.

What about monk? He did a fantastic job compiling it together and making the background image. Looks fabulous btw.
