Wow I haven\'t heard if there is going to be anything going on. Would love to make it because the Christmas party looked like a lot of fun but I am going to be out partying on the Las Vegas Strip. Although I am thinking of possibly staying home with all the terrorist talks that have been going on. Who knows if I chicken out I will check and see if there is a New Years Eve party going on.

It would kinda be hard to have a New Years party becuase poeple are on different time zones and so the New Year comes at different times. Some people will already be in 2004 and some will still be in 2003.

And it was different with Christmas!? :P

That\'s a benefit, only 1,3 or 5 timezones couldn\'t make it; everyone else could.

That\'ll be even better.  So then you can talk to your friends in your own Time Zone, then when that time passes, on with the people from the next!

It\'s all about connections....and what time it is, but mostly connectons.

Yea you could celebrate the New Year of every time zone!  So far though no one has said there is even gonna be a New Years party.

Oh? A 24-hour party? That sounds great! Is anyone else interested in this, or am I just insane?
[edit]
Clarify this for me, the first of the New Years is at December 31st (tomorrow) +12 GMT, right?

Yup I\'m in +8 GMT as well, but I certainly wouldn\'t mind catching New Year for those who live in the past.

My brother had oral surgery, so he\'s home on the computer all day (not like he isn\'t usually like that), so I\'m not gonna be able to go to it if there is one...
But seriously, we just had a christmas party, do we need both? Not that I was able to it... I want my new comp! :(

Hope there will be one at 00:00 GMT cuz I can pretend to be GMT while I really is GMT+1  :D
and almost all my friends are at a stupid LAN so I can probebly come just as long as it\'s not exactly 00:00 GMT+1

Edit: or wait, maybe I have some plans after all, we\'ll see.

I couldn\'t be there, so I am curious. Was there a party or not?
