First of all, you\'re on Windoze, right?

If so, the association isn\'t made to run batch files with cmd.exe.  You may want to try to manually run it through the command prompt or remake the assocation.

Option 1: Running with command prompt)

Goto Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt

Then \"cd\" into the directory with the batch file, and then type \"run_me_first\" or \"run_me_first.bat\".

Option 2: Changing the assocation)

Open a file explorer window, goto Tools > Folder Options > File Types, and the rest is pretty self explanatory.

Option 1 is easier, but option 2 is permanent.

If you have a fast connection and/or dont mind downloading the game again, you can just download the full file instead of the several parts through the Fragnetics Site.  That way you will have the final .exe right away if your computer has problems with .bat files.

Actually, joining a file in DOS is as simple as \"copy srcfile1 + srcfile2 destfile\".  Unless of course there\'s more going on than simple joining, such as padding.

No, it should be equal to the precise sum of all the parts (excluding the bat, of course)
